From what I have seen, jade and LEV are not the same-- jade heals AFTER drain/direct damage, making it slightly more powerful so that it negates CBT and drain life, two popular sources of direct damage. It just bothered me that many of the ratings of jade said that it had the same value in battle as LEV. There is a chance that LEV might do the same thing; could anyone test this?
I don't think that is correct. Jade and LEV have always been underheal weapons (healing before any damage takes place). Could you provide a screenshot of Jade overhealing? I'm almost positive that Jade is an underheal weapon.. There's always the possibility that TNT upgraded the Jade to make it more "worthwhile" to people.

It doesn't overheal, but it does heal after direct damage weapons/abilities like cursed elixir, crisp blue tunic, drain life, etc. I've experienced this numerous times when using CBT against 1-p opponents who used jade the same turn and I didn't do 100 direct damage. I can try to get a screen but only in 2 days when my suspension ends.
that's a good point, someone should test that. only problem is I don't have 80 mill. xP

This is true. I was playing around against the Drenched a couple of days ago and when they computer used the jade at the same time as I used the tunic, the Drenched took no damage from the tunic.

Hmmm... So it sounds like the JSS is slightly better than the LEV for reasons other than it's rarity. It would be nice if other healers healed after damage too even without an overheal.
I did 1 test on it to show jade does indeed heal after drain

It'd be nice if idb staff could confirm this and add it in a note in jade's entry. Here I clicked first, but in 1-player I click second and the same thing happens.

If anyone has an LEV, could you please PM me, or post on this thread? Thank you.
JADE_1 (Drain attacks first, click 'GO' second)
JADE_2 (Drain attacks 2nd, click 'GO' first)
LEV_1 (Drain attacks first, click 'GO' second)
LEV_2 (Drain attacks 2nd, click 'GO' first)
Conclusion: Both LEV and Jade overheal on "drain" damage. The question now becomes:
Do others healers also overheal on "drain" damage?
*thanks to ssr, Q, and schezan for helping test!
lev and jade don't neccessarily "overheal on drain damage"
its more like the drainage happens before everything else

No. This is what the post above you was asking: numeric healers heal AFTER direct damage (most scorchstones, ECA, etc) but what about other percentage healers? I vaguely remember taking out an opponent using CBT + ghosterkerbomb when he used kacheek life potion, but I may be wrong.
