I think that might be the amount of posts you've made on the new forum. The post counts were saved when during the forum switch (weren't they?), and now they're reset?

I don't know why, but I think it has to do with the really old posters. If you posted a lot back then and not as much recently, you lost a lot more posts. :S
Good thing I remembered my post count...
I dropped 600 posts or so ;_;
