I just reformatted my computer and downloaded gMS from the gMS website. I patched it, and played. Everything was fine from login up to selecting a character, However, when I play the game, the screen will lag at the loading black screen, then for a split-second show the game screen, and then quickly closes.
Does anyone have the same problem? It wears off after a lot of tries relogging in, however for most of the time, it doesn't. THe problem starts all over again when I shut down the computer.
Haha, that would be the problem I had. I thought it was because a lot of my hard drive was taken up which wouldn't have helped, but I think it was mostly Windows Service Pack 2. My computer just can't handle that and MS. :/
I just found out that it was actually Xfire that's causing MS to close on its own. Maybe because they have a new program detector out?
I had to uninstall Xfire to solve the problem. CLosing it will not help.
I am just now having this very same problem. I was able to play perfectly just the other day, but last night when I tried to play, it kept kicking me out right after I selected my character...I don't have Xfire, so I don't know how to fix it...

It might be caused by an antiviral... I'd try disabling that.
