pfft no fair

your latency was sooo much faster for cinci than mine i wonder what's up with that!

Oh just had a random thought. I'm going throug a router not directly connected to the line. + another PC was on and connected to the net when I did that.

I'm in the same boat.. I think the differance is that you tested during primetime, and I did mine during midday. either way, I'll take my numbers LOL

Got rid of the hub and got an 8-port 10/100 switch instead, and that improved things:



We're apparently upgrading to ultra high speed, too, so I'll test again after that.

I did it at my parent's home and is awfully slow... it looks like i'm on a 28 kbps modem.

thats funny it sure as hell doesnt feel like i have 14 mbs of downloaded speex 0_x

thats closer to 15 mbs than 14

This is about 10x faster than it used to be!
