My home connection is pretty fast. o_o If only my school connection could be anywhere near as good.

our cable recently (~6 months) got upgraded to a 10 mb/s line for free. it's gooooood.

I'm closer to Fenton, but both d/l and u/l to and from Montreal are faster.

Not bad, I suppose. Makes me happy I'm not on dial-up.
EDIT: It used to be a lot lower. I wonder if changing Firefox's settings to allow pipelining made the difference?

From what I understand about pipelining, no. Enabling pipelining on Firefox may allow you to get the components of a page (such as images) faster, but it doesn't actually change your download speed.
