Restockers most likely. A friend of mine discovered the codestone business a while ago, he recently got bored and bought millions worth of Eo Codestones, which kinda explains the price jump in that particular one..
I guess more and more people are just getting aware of how profitable the codestone market can be.
I have to pay 150k/a week because of these inflated codestone prices. And that's hard to keep up because my stocks and restocks haven't been selling well... I'll probably lower myself into the 2mil mark soon because of this...
Just like in real life, the stock market has a HUGE impact on the neopian economy. This probably explains even though I have been restocking a lot, they're not selling well do to the bad stock market.

Luckily, I have 1 of each Codestone.
Jellyneo has also found a page on neo. talking about upcomming events. It says a new plot is starting soon (which most of us have suspected for a while anyway) but this is also contributing to the rise. I found about 100K in codestones I had overpriced in my shop by over a thousand all sold out, so I spent about 2mil on Main codestones.
Regretfully, the old Word Scrabbles that gave Codestones, now only give 1,000 NP.

Looks like some of the more expensive Codestones will break above 10k each soon. Never seen that happen before.
I've got a stock of Codestones in my SDB, and I train through the Lab Ray, so I won't be hurt by any of this, but still...
It was a very bad idea on TNT's part to stop giving out Codestones through the Word Scrambles...
