Yess, now I can train faster, cos the prices are going down!!! XD Hope this never change ^_^
Wouldn't they (red codestones) go down anyway because it would be cheaper to make them in the volcano?
I think so, its logical XD

Yeah, you're probably right! XD

Not nessesarily. There are more factors than the codestone price, such as how many are made. I don't know if this was changed but back a while ago, some red codestones were not created as often as others. If TNT are giving those rarer red codestones through KeyQ than the expencive ones would go down, if not, their price might not fluctuate much.

Of course this is assuming that some red codestones are less common than others. (I was out of the loop of things for a long time so I'm not sure...)
Hooray, I'm gonna start training again! Big Grin
Man, I had the most random idea to invest in codestones about a month ago. I'm so glad I stumbled upon this thread and quickly liquidated all of my stockpiled codestones before the prices dropped much more. Silly TNT and their key quest.

I had bought 50 of every codestone as well as 10 of every red codestone and was planning on simply keeping them until the next war. I was headed for disaster!

I guess the up-side is, I didn't lose any money in the end (I think I actually made some money, somehow,) and now I can train my neopet for cheaper. Sweet!

Congratulation! Nice for you Smile
I'm also glad that I didn't mass buy codestones (also for next war, same as you) before KQ Wink
Perhaps when codestones drop back down to where they were a few years ago, I'll just stockpile a bunch of them then. They'll be a lot cheaper so I'll be able to buy a lot more, and at the very least, I can use them for training.

Just curious, how hard would it be to add the red codestones to your list? The prices on those seem to be changing quite a bit lately too, at least by my observations.
Now that Keyquest is temporarily closed, expect the codestones to rapidly inflate. It looks like they have already inflated quite a bit...
