I never knew that there would be scammers on this forum. I just caught one today, let's hope admin ip bans him.
Anyways, in my 5 years of neopets, I've been through a lot of scam and their respective scammers.
There should be a thread in the forums about different scams. I'll help start it.
We get the occasional scammers, but it's pretty rare. A thread on what scams to avoid and such would be nice.

They usually post a thread like "FREEE CODESTNES" with a link disguised to look like a Neopets link, then link offsite to a cookie grabber or some other bad thing.

It's happened before, but it is usually dealt with pretty quickly. As long as you click the "Report" button, it's likely to be removed in a very short time.
