I've been in Neopets for about 4 years but didn't start battling until this last Plot (the Isle). I was wondering if they ever gave you stat increases when you beat any of the 1 player profiles? and if not don't you think that would be a good idea?

It makes since the more that you battle to more experience you get and it would obviously be weighted with who you beat and the stat increase should be random.

No they don't give stat increases unfortunatly. Although it sounds fun in theory it cannot be implemented because some people have tens of thousands of wins against some challengers. This would kinda be like an experience system and almost all games have that. If this game was played this way then Neopets would become that much similar to pokemon.
