So, I haven't changed my set in a long time and now have some money to finance an upgrade...
Here's my pet's stats:
740 HP
430 STR
46 DEF
230 LVL
Right now I'm not training much except for Lab Ray. I should be doing KQs, but I'm too lazy most of the time.
Weps:
Pike Pike x2
BFC
Winged Scarab
Ice SS
PSH
DS
BTW, I'm 1p only. So, anyway, what should I buy. Like I said, I have 7.5 mil np at the moment, but I make np pretty steadily with the stockmarket, so I can definitely save up for something if need be. I've been considering buying an ROTL, or else saving up for either an S-Pot, an SOS or that 50% healer wep, whatever it's called. But I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks for any help.

Yuck.
Black Frost Cannon. Upgrade it to
Freezing Potion or
H4000 Helmet PRONTO! That's pretty much most your budget I'm afraid, but since you say you can earn Neopoints steadily, I'll carry on further.
I think the 50% healer you're talking about is
Bag of Healing Dust. The future set is going to go way over budget if you include it, but I think that the healer can come later. I'd go dual
Bow of Destiny or
Wand of Reality if I were you, since I don't know how "steadily" you can make the Neopoints, and the
Winged Scarab can be upgraded to
Yooyuball Player Sling if it comes out as a prize for the Altador Cup again. Also purchase yourself a
Ring of the Lost, and I guess that's about it. If you want other full-blockers, it's going to take you a while to earn the Neopoints for it.
Oh, and I'm not too sure what you mean by DS...
Here is what I would recommend to you:
Freezer: H4000 Helmet
Healer: Ice Scorchstone
Shield: Winged Scarab
Main Attack: Fungus Ray
Main Attack: Scuzzys Comb
Shield: Downsize!
Stealer: Purple Sticky Hand
Reflector: 50% Reflector
You will notice that the major different is the freezer. I find my 100% freezer to be the most important part of my set. I doubt I could even live without it - my H4000 helmet practically serves as my skull.
Because the Helmet costs almost 7m, ugprades for weapons are limited. I think you should upgrade the Pike Pike to a Fungus Ray that will deal a few more icons.
The Scuzzys is not much more expensive and will give you another icon.
A downsize! will block 50% of all damage and can turn battles around.
You next major upgrade should be either be A) Stop using the lab ray and get a species healer or B) look into buying a
Bag of Healing Dust (50% healer!).
Now, if you don't think you want or need a 100% freezer, use that money to buy a Bow of Destiny (or two) as that will dramatically increase the damage you do. You may also want to look into getting a
Bow of Destiny plus a
Ring of the Lost as it blocks all dark and does a decent attack.
If you do decide to stop using the lab to train your pet, look into these items:
Bag Of Lenny Healing Seeds +
Entangling Lenny Lasso (would save you over 11 million NP - enough to get an SoS),
Gelert Healing Remedy,
Elephante Unguent,
Blumaroo Health Potion, or
Kacheek Life Potion.
I think the best upgrade for the moment would be the healer. Ice ss isn't good.

DS is Downsize.
I'm not so sure about an H4K, mainly because I'm a 1p battler. I can always restart until I get a freeze from the BFC. It's pain, but avoiding it probably isn't worth 7 million.
Right. Normally we just use D! as the abbreviation of
Downsize!, but I don't really like people using abbreviations... I personally have never had luck with non-100% freezers. Well, freezers in general. The only 100% freezer I've used was the
Scroll of Freezing, which took about 2 turns to break. I've never been able to freeze with the
Black Frost Cannon, out of about 33 tries I think...
Hmm... I guess it used to be DS in the old days or something, I remember always using that abbreviation.
Well, that's just bad luck, the freezing percentage is about 20% if I remember correctly. The extra icons are nice too, in fact it's better than a Freezing Potion on the turns it freezes.
Chicken, if you don't want to go with the H4000 Helmet and you want first round freezes, get a
Snowglobe Staff. The Staff has a higher percent chance of freezing than the Black Frost Cannon (but breaks easily - which doesn't matter if you want a first round freeze, if you dont want a first round, the BFC might be better over a few rounds).
Then, sell your Ice Scorchstone and buy a
Bag of Healing Dust
That will heal your 50% of your HP on your first try, once per battle.
If you have any money left over, then either buy a
Honey Potion as a bomb or upgrade the Fungus Ray I mentioned to a
Bow of Destiny if you can (or upgrade the Ramptors Spellbook to a Fungus Ray/other 11 iconer).
It doesn't really "Show" that wilt, stats have margins of error.
The BFC was tested 100 times and got 23 freezes- if you had tested it 100 times and got 18 freezes it would be 18%. Snowglobe looks closer to 20 and BFC looks closer to 20 when you look at lots of other people who have tested it.
But it certainly doesnt say that the staff has a HIGHER chance than the black frost cannon.
