Has anyone noticed that BD image on the main page? It kind of reminds me of the Altador Cup. The shield looks like something from the
Brightvale team, and the setting looks like some Yooyuball Arena.

Meh...here in America, at least, professional athletes are frequently referred to as "warriors" of some sort (Gridiron Warriors, Warriors of the Square Circle, etc.). A case could be made that any athletic competition is a war of sorts between opposing battlers.
What I want to know is, if the Cup is a War, where is our Battledome Challenger? *falls over* ;-9

There will be NO altador cup / war combo, its just not right at all, TNT only have 1 major event on at a time, and anyway there was no war last year. they've had their hands full since the beginning of the MIP plot (plot, battledome, puzzles, altador cup, slushie slinger/Make Some Noise, altador cup scores)
Just for clarity, the smiley at the end of the sentence was intended to indicate the *attempt* at humor, and not an actual wish for a war to break out over the cup. There is enough competition between these teams as is.... ;-9 ;-9~

That's just adveritisment for the Battledome... I'd guess it's supposed to look like a gladiator-style match.
While something like a war with AC players as challengers would be both strange, and entirely awesome, don't expect anything like that to happen. Ever.
