So I have an A in my English class, and I'm crazy happy right now. I've decided to give away 100k! With the bank being closed, I suspect this is a pretty large sum (for most).
The reason I'm so happy, is that the teacher is a totally meanie (for lack of appropriate word). I had a B (~85) around the middle of the semester, and she said
it is impossible to bring that up to an A. This was her reason for not signing me up to AP English next year.
So now, I'm at the end of the semester. I have an
A, and I don't need to take the final. W00000t!!!!!
So yah, post here saying you want it. I'll pick one lucky person

And the same thing happened with me... my stupid english teacher emailed my parents to say that she was concerned because I had a D (my parents weren't the happiest in the world). It's a good thing she isn't a math teacher because she was too dumb to realize that we had had only 2-3 of graded assignments... at the end of the semester I had a 97.4%.

I'll pass on the NP, even on this relic I'm having the reverse problem of "where do I put these NP now"
I can empathize, here's my similar story: I failed a freshman comp class after transferring because the teacher was an idiot and I had already had freshman comp with an excellent prof at a community college. A few years later I return to the same school and am assigned to take freshman comp yet again. Luckily this time I draw the English Dept Dean as the prof. She reads the in-class essay I wrote for evaluation purposes and promptly hands me the paperwork and approval I need to bypass the requirement since I "obviously don't belong here, this class is for people who need help learning to write"

Usually men teachers have a better sense of humor from my experiences.

I have had similar experiences... I'm glad you weren't oppressed and did worse and instead excelled under the pressure.

I'm in grade 9 and I just got an 80% in English. Not AP. And I'm not planning to take AP next year either.
I'm in AP math and science. =) Those subjects rule.
