francineh, I had simple missed this post:
Quote:Fine.
I can check if players get attacked or not nightly, and Lacka must have had some serious protection to survive the attacks he's taken on his life.
Added to the fact we have a high baddie quotient and Lacka isn't dead it, which, I think is highly odd as experianced as he is.
Also, when I wrote the Scramble for and the Return to Enostra, I have written immortal role. The persons were completely indestructable till certain conditions are filled. Took them three executions and we saying to give it up on the second day because he could not be killed to get the point.
Scal is not an egotistical chap. If he says he is indestructable, I have no reason to believe he isn't - for the time being anyhow.
So, my vote stays. If we wish to waste another day, so be it.
Firstly, you say you can checked if players get attacked nightly. That is possibly one of the most useless roles I've ever seen because for one, Silver and Forte announce when people are dying, and there are no shields in this game so most of the time the person attacked dies. I doubt they would go on and make a role just to detect if a person has been protected or not. And secondly, Metalwarrior is correct. The cowardly reporter role you claim does exist checks activity. Usually it checks if a person did any actions during the night, or, sometimes, even receive the name of the person they targeted. And I personally have never heard of your role, either.
Secondly, Lackadazed didn't respond to any of your criticisms because, in my opinion, there is no solid proof that it had ever even happened. Now, maybe I just didn't read things properly and maybe I skipped a page where you explain your reasoning, but here are a few problems I have with your claim against lackadazed.
Firstly, how many nights have you supposedly "followed" Lackadazed? I'm hoping you have at least two under your belt, but you never gave us a definite answer. Also, it makes sense for a protector to protect a person again if he or she has been attacked, if they were able to protect two nights in a row.
You've made it seem like you had a lot of evidence, when there really isn't at all. A lot of it has just been pulled out of the air as filler for your sole reason which is frankly, not very believable.
Quote:Okay.
So, lets get the sequence of events correct.
Lacka pops up, and instead of I don't know, responding to any of my critisims, he says he's never heard of such a role.
THAT is either willfully ignorant, wilfully deceptive, or just plain desperate to hide the truth. And, the easy way many of you went with him likely points to atleast one bandwangoner. I'll go ahead and say WIS is likely to be one.
The role that apprently is improbable and doesnt exist is called the Cowardly Reporter. Look it up if you wish. And, seeing how someone is apprently immortal, I find that statement about it being unlikely a tad funny.
Firstly, you claim Lacka is evil. People want to know WHY they're voting for Lacka. After some persuasion you claim she has been attacked multiple times and claim to have this role. Lacka is
right in saying she has never heard of such a role because she probably hasn't. I haven't either. Instead of responding to your criticism
s, I don't frankly see how she could respond to your sole argument other than state the fact that she basically thinks your role is fake.
You're saying we, and me in particular, have followed her like bandwagoners. You apparently didn't have any problem when people were following your bandwagon against her. Any credibility you had when you had "mysterious" reasons for voting Lacka, in my opinion, was completely gone by the time you posted that role. (Which I happened to miss until I saw people voting for you, at which point I went back and read it).
As for your last comment about your role and comparing it to the immortal role in likeliness. You said it yourself you created an immortal like role in your game. And I have seen immortal role, or roles with similar goals in other games. A role like this is basically saying you automatically win if you complete a certain amount of Requirements. Which is not unlike the Sylar role in Ryguy's game a while ago. This role is more probable because it has an appropriate action-reward ratio. I'm assuming it took Scalibur more than picking daisies to become immortal. For example, in Ryguy's game, Sylar had to match all the roles with a name before automatically winning the game. It is a hard feat, and the reward is good and it serves some purpose, if not only to the role-bearer himself. I honestly don't see the purpose of your role, and since there are plain innocents in this game, you cannot claim that your role is a filler.
That is my reason for voting you.
