I'm thinking of buying a neopets TCG weapon and i was wondering whether it will be a good investment because they are technically retired or will the TCG un-retire and TCG-weapons drop in value again.

Does anybody have more information about what happened to the neopets TCG or any releases TNT has said on the matter?

As far as i know, TCG booster packs are still being sold (I saw some at my local Wal-Mart). The most recent set that has been released (to my knowledge) was based on the Tale of Woe plot. Sorry that I don't have more info than that.
