Roo Island last year had a "weak" team, but did awesome!
Since they signed over a new player, and because I can't really remember who my first team were last year, I'm all for the Roos this year!

Is anyone else intruiged by the fact that switched to a double-round-robin with daily matches? It seems almost as though TNT is trying harder and harder to give us reasons to "always 'need' to be on neo." Last year, I would put my work off to days when there wasn't a match in progress, whenever possible, but... bleh. Also, now, I'm presented with an interesting delemia every day of when to RS and when to play. I neglected RSing durring matches last year, and pending the non-re-release of the Altador Coloseum stamps, that was definately a worthwile desicion, but... well, for one thing, with the cost of training, neglecting RSing for the whole month of June would decrease my current nps by over 1 mil, a though which makes me cringe, especially since I'm working towards an SoS right now. Also, if TNT continues thier current trend of worsening prizes...

Hey, I havn't collected my prize from last year's cup. I went to the link and it seems that they have removed it. Does this mean I can't use my points from last year to redeem those prizes anymore?
I think the Double round robin was a way to have all players continue playing, and the every day thing was to keep it from taking too long. If they did it one battle a week, it would take 7 and a half months, not including the playoffs.

Gee...y'think? ;-9 Considering they get their ad revenue from successive page refreshes, I am surprised remaining logged on has not become mandatory. (/SARCASM) But also seriously, this schedule is going to really bite. I know there are a bunch of us older adults on Neo, and it is a balancing act between work, any family duties, and getting in real playing time (as opposed to the odd refreshing in-between work). I am with a Social Services agency, and our work loads have been crazy ever since Katrina/Rita hit here in Louisiana. We are now in the process of closing out the second National Emergency Grant, so of course that workload will not thin out until after JUNE 30....

Now, that is really odd. TNT has never closed a prize shop that quickly. I think it was just a mistake they made in reconfiguring for the new round of the cup. I would send in a bug report, and they should move it to a new area on the server.

Some are really fast moving, some move very slow... some move just right...
Different blobs throw the ball different and you can prove it this year because the guy that scores isn't always the same ^.^ like last year.
When I say throw the ball different I mean different speeds, when I try to use the guys in the back most of the time the ball just slowly rolls out of their hands making it nearly impossible to score with them

The game differentiates between the players, so the strength and weaknesses may have a SMALL effect, but I think that by far the biggest factor will be the person cotroling the players, not the players themselves. You can still get 9-0 with basically any team fairly regularily, with a bit of practice.
I picked darigan last year. Should I go with them again? If I do, and they get 2nd or 1st, will I get a second trophy? How about runner up too?
Yes, go with Darigan Citadel again. We want revenge! I think they're going to change the design of the trophy this year if we get 2nd again.
Definitely choose Darigan again this year. We want all out best players back to deal flaming revenge on HW. ;-9
They will have to have different trophies, since there will be no changing teams, so no Supporter or Devotee classes.
