draws in all 3 games between RI and KI... pretty nuts...
Heh, better than a loss, I guess... but I would have liked a win in yooyuball, at least. Now Shenkuu is a little too close for comfort!
Seems to me all of the top 4 positions have gotten real close. ...Imagine that....

I would assume that, if there is some averaging going on, TNT is averaging the number of goals and the number of team members who sent scores that day, not the number of signed-up members. If that theory is right, then playing just a couple games in a day would hurt your team more than skipping a day entirely.

I think this is true ^.^ because I am only able to play a little each work day... on days I played my team lost... days I didn't play my team won (unless weekend)

so I kind of stopped playing ~.~ except on weekends
no upsets yesterday...

today had two key matchups...
krawk island v mystery island and
shenkuu v Darigan

will be interesting to see what happens
Roo Island's got some simple matches to finish off with, while Darigan has tougher matches.  Krawk Island has 1 tough game, and so does Shenkuu.  Looks like Roo Island will come out as first, then Krawk Island, followed by Darigan and Shenkuu.

EDIT: Yep, just as I guessed, Darigan drew to Shenkuu twice and lost once. Roo Island won all three against Kiko Lake, which should put them ahead, and Krawk Island won once, drew and lost once against Mystery Island, meaning they're still fourth, I think.
My personal scores did not update, as though I did not play a single game yesterday....
Man. I know not all Darigan players are bad (one of my best neofriends is on that team), but a lot of the ones on the neoboards are SUCH sore losers! I saw a thread this morning saying that there's no way Shenkuu could have tied with/beaten Darigan, so that obviously meant that people from the other top teams had joined Darigan on side accounts and played badly to make them lose.

As a RI player pointed out, it would be stupid for us to do that, as we don't want to risk going up against Shenkuu in the finals. Wink (Not to mention losses aren't counted and I don't think the averaging works using signed-up members, so I don't know what they think we actually did. All joined, got one goal and then stopped? I dunno.)

Anyway, laaaaaasssssst (normal) day! I'm so excited about that. I'm also stockpiling movies in anticipation of the finals -- I plan to do a lot of playing in the last three days.
I know some of the ones you are talking about, and believe me they are an embarrassment. My comment was not so much a complaint about whether games counted or not (there have been enough people complaining their scores were not counted), but a resigned frustration with this entire cup. I am tired.... I have been run ragged at work the past two months, and trying to work a few games of YYB in at night before getting not enough sleep has left me a tad edgy. I apologize if my tone came off as being spiteful, it was not intended in that manner. I have tried not to be one of those obnoxious Darigans, but the lack of transparency in the actual scoring method that is going to determine the finalists, coupled with the over-long schedule, leaves me with a large case of "Does Not Care Anymore". I do not know whether the few games I have played have helped my team or hurt it, depeding on which weighting method is being discussed. At this point I do not know if I even want to bother if Darigan makes it to the finals, as it has ceased to be fun. LAST year was fun. It was simple, and very transparent. TNT could go a long way toward making it fun again by going back to what worked.
yep, all I can say is that the prizes better be good from all of this playing... the opportunity cost of participating in this tournament has been extremely high!

Me too... I'm not sure what's going on. Pffft

Some of my games have been dropped here and there, no big deal really, though of course I wish it wouldn't happen. But I wonder if something particularly glitchy happened yesterday? I played YYB all evening...
