Actually, from what TNT posted, there's no way to tell if the two side games combined count for more than Yooyuball. MI and LD are pretty darn close in Yooyuball points, but LD has the clear win in both the other games.
I'm probably going to be in London or Paris when the group stage ends, meaning I can't earn anymore points...
EDIT: Wow, Shenkuu is surprisingly good. Or are the Roo Island people slacking?
Supporters of the less fashionable teams need some sort of presence in this thread! Let's hear it for Team Maraqua!
...oh look, we just got swept by Krawk Island...

Come on Darigan Citadel, let's knock Krawk Island off the top!
It appears that while the results of Wednesday's action has been tabulated and posted, action from Tuesday, June 26 HAS NOT. I'm still showing "under review" as to my team's fate from that day, and the standings do not show any result from the matches of that day at this point. I suspect something to do with the system problems TNT was having, but the "current standings" appear to be missing action of the 26th, and so really aren't fully up-to-date.
Yep, all the results from Tuesday, June 26th are still shown as "Under Review", though the results from Wednesday, June 27th have been posted and the standings have been updated. I don't think it has anything to do with the system, unless they have a different system for each day, which is quite unlikely.
Some members on the Premium Charter boards yesterday were saying that while they were playing they were getting logged out by the system. They stopped and tried to go to another area of the site and found they were logged out, so they are not even sure at what point it happened, or whether all their game scores were sent. This is going to be the most messed up Cup in history.
I have a theory as to what happened yesterday. As you may know, some people didn't have their scores credited. I've been playing neo for a while, and I know from past incidents that username groups are stored on multiple servers. (Just like on the shop wiz, 'a' names would be on one server, 's' names on another, and so forth.) During past glitches, a server or two would crash, causing glitches for all the name groups stored on that particular server, while the other name groups would be unaffected. I think what happened yesterday was a server or two crashed, causing some data to be erased entirely. If this is true, TNT has a major problem on their hands. Unless they can somehow retrieve the data, and figure out how many points people actually earned, they have no way of knowing what the real results were yesterday. Even worse, there were three huge match-ups, and any inaccuracy in scoring would adversely affect the team ranking. The results weren't up yesterday likely because they spent the whole day fixing whatever had caused the problem in the first place, so it wouldn't snowball on each subsequent day. I'm thinking, at this point, it may be best if they just had a rematch, even though I personally do NOT want another day of AC.
This, of course, is why TNT is taking all of our PREMIUM MONEY and using it to buy BACKUP SERVERS in the event that anything ever GOES WRONG....
Well that felt better...not.
Of course for those of us with paranoid tendancies in the first place, one could argue that without any real-time updating of scores, and confirmation of our matches, the whole tabulation process could be non-existant and scripted to whomever TNT feels like having win in any particular contest. TNT has missed the boat as far as stimulating more playing time, and more excitement around the cup by shrouding its scoring in mystery, and not having real-time info for the players. If your team were just down a little bit to a highly favored opponent, you'd be more likely to "find" the time for a few more games to help it. I'm not saying that TNT is actually making things up as they go along, but the system leaves them open to the charge, and the curious number of "draws" in all phases of competetion does little to dismiss it. The odds of the number of players playing divided by 16 (teams) producing exactly the same number of wins in a high percentage of games is beyond mathmatical probability. It'll be interesting to see how it's resolved, but the lack of transparancy in scoring is likely to leave many people feeling they were "cheated" in some fashion, which will never be able to be proved or disproved. It's just sad that a little more forethought didn't go into these things, and since I think it would stimulate more overall playing of cup games, I don't see why it wasn't.
Scores for the 26th have been updated. Wonder how many people will believe them....
