I'll have you know that Roo Island is the only undefeated team in Yooyuball (we have seven wins, one draw, and no losses). I'm proud of my team.
I got to Level 1 yesterday. My guess is that I have played more than 50 games, maybe as many as 100 with between 300 and 500 goals differential. I definitely have not scored 1,000 goals either in total or as the differential.
I've won a minimum 25 of each of the 3 games in all 8 rounds (this is my first Cup and it took me a long, long time to get even that many Yooyuball wins early on) and I'm still ranked a beginner. I'm somewhat surprised at that -- but being on the Roo Island team helps! Go Roo Island!!
I'm really hoping that the yooyuball scores are counting even if you don't open a new window. I'm not really concerned about having a low level right now, as we just began the 2nd week of the tourney, and as this is a long tourney, the rank process should be slow. I played 100 games on Monday for the Haunted Woods showdown, and it looked like I influenced it, as Mystery Island won in an upset, and I also moved from beginner to level 2 that day. What does concern me is that some people are level 6. I'm really hoping that they either have played tons more than i have (i would estimate 250 games of yooyu, avg of 8 pts/game) or that their team winning is influencing it.
Darigan seems to do much better when I focus on YYB and leave the other two alone to people who are better at those games than I.
*Swears off slushies for the rest of the tournament*
Non-sequitur: I would love to know how many people on here are full-time employed, so I could measure my non-success against the similarly committed. *falls over*
