Yes, that's right, Microsoft leaked a few details about a WoW coming to the 360 and it is expected to hit in Holiday 2008, Microsoft is still negotiating with Blizzard on what they'll pay for Blizzard to make the game, but when they do, then it will be a public announcement.
I can just imagine it now, Bill Gates on his knees with 15 briefcases of money and praying to Blizzard.

.
And this is true actually ^^.

Unless you can give a link, this is a rumor. Surely news that big would be all over the internet, but googling gave nothing except old news stories about a rumor saying this.
It's in an OXM magazine for April 07, issue number 69. It is located in the Mole X-files section.
I doubt it would happen. Blizzard makes hundreds of millions of dollars each month, why sell their product to be produced by someone else?
No, I meant microsoft is paying blizzard to make a xbox 360 version of WoW EXCLUSIVE to xbox 360.
This has been known for a few months, though, hasn't it?
If you go to BLizzard's site and then go to their company information section and then go to the employment page or something like that, they were looking for coders with extensive knowledge of console programming or something about specifically with the next-gen systems
EDIT:
http://www.blizzard.com/jobopp/
There's a link and here's a quote
"Job Update 4/26/07
New Position - Lead Engine Programmer – Next-Gen MMO"
"New Position – Lead Tools Programmer – Next-Gen MMO"
"New Position - Lead Technical Artist – Next-Gen MMO"
I did know that OXM especulated about that in the April's number, but that may be some kind of Aprils fools on OXM, I supose. They haven't said anything about that port anywhere since then, and I higly doubt Blizzard would work with microsoft in an online-oriented game ever, and Blizzard had the perfect occasion for doing so a couple of days ago.
They are no longer looking for console programmers anymore in that link...They are not working in any console game since they stopped working on Starcraft: Ghost (the game they were hiring people to work at, back in the moment)
As they stated in a recent (may 19) press release, they are focusing in PC gaming for now.
Quote:... also fielded a question on Blizzard's commitment to the PC as its primary game platform. He cited the "indefinite hold" status of the studio's console game Starcraft: Ghost as an impetus that eventually drove the company to focus on the PC as its primary platform. ...

It's issue #69. Cut it some slack.
WoW on 360 as a RPG game or MMoRPG? O_o
I somehow can't see WoW working as a MMoRPG because the buttons on controllers don't really give much room to use the abilities/moves....
Well you could do like dpad for 4 main menus and then dpad again to select from sub menus (if you have played CS for xbox you would understand) or you could push in thumbstick and then have the 8 directions as menus (up, down, left, right, diagonal up-left, diag up-right, diag down-left, diag down-right) and then more from there.
Or maybe even a mini macro system where you can set presets in the dpad, dang that'd be sick.
I wish there was a good mmorpg for console
