Ekul seems to be hanging from a lamp post covered in web. He won't be doing anything for awhile.
*cheers for Spidey* Whoot go spidey go lol
Some kind of role blocker.
Edit: Scratch that. I was woundering if you were gonna update the players list with the dead people, but you did it while I was writting my post.
I think, maybe, the mafia killed him because of two reason: Q could organise the townies through their trust in him or because he is an experienced member of this game and they didn't want a smart townie sticking around.

I was reading back and noticed that Q was the first person to offer a theory. In that post Q very boldly called the townies by their correct name, the townies could have been called bystanders, pedestrians or anything. Instead, Q called himself a New Yorker. I don't know about you guys but after reading that I immediately gained a trust in Q. The mafia could have felt that Q could have been a threat in that way, because with that trust he could organise the townie.

You see, if someone makes an accusation against someone you aren't going to be too gullible to beleive them without hard proof. The mafia are naturally going to be targetting the townies and the townies can either target mafia members or townies because of their lack of knowledge. However, if you have a trusted townie, usually one that has been proven townie through some kind of role, you can be assured that when that person makes an accusation you are not being led astray. Of course, there is a chance that the person he/she is accusing is a townie but atleast you don't have to do all the work to figure out if the accuser's intentions.

Another very fine anwer is that the mafia is trying to wipe out the intelligent townies so that they aren't there in the end game which is the most strategically important part of the game. Simply, you'd rather play chess with a clinically diagnosed mentally retarded person than a genius.

Now, I've found in all my years of play that the mafia, and I know this is some times a straw man because you could go on about "mafia do, mafia don't do", but, they are generally going to act like total individuals to erase any trace of corrolation between the group. And they are also, generally, not going to try to get on anyone's nerves. This is a known fact, I've gathered tons of numbers about day one, to make it easier, and I found that the mafia mostly votes no lynch. Why would they risk controversy the first day when they have a flawless and un-documented night kill?

So right now, I'm looking at the people on the "nobody" list right now. I also am still not happy with Ekul just because I dislike his playing style, his arratic style could prove to be more trouble than worth. I don't know about you but I got absolutely nothing out of his "test". Except that Ben is good at picking out pronouns from a group of words.

Of course, I could be missing something bluntly obvious, again, I'm only use to the playing the style of mafia. Please tell me if I over looked a rule.
*makes mental note to skip over Duke's posts so as to save time toward life*

And you can call things mafia terms, just sounds wierd since there are no mafia in this game....or is there....

Maybe the fact that a "standard procedure" for smart baddies is impossible, as if there was, the smart baddies would know better than to put themselves in suspision by following it? Wink

Maybe not, but there are always smarter things to do than others.
I concur with that statement. Toungue There are many strategies baddies have used to win. Going right along with innocents claiming a false role that you can semi-prove is very deceitful and can get you pretty far. You could also try to stay out of the spotlight so no one questions your innocence, and I consider this strategy a 50/50 type thing because people tend to catch on.

Either way, I was posting to say that King Pin would've made an excellent Mafia leader. ^_~
Thanks for the "package" you know who, since im conveintly strung up on a web here, and cant vote or do anything for a day, i cant use it till tomorrow, but thanks. now i have to figuire out who ill trust with what i got, me being webbed 15 min after i got it didnt help anything... O.o well anyways, i hope the person that webbed me also got info... :/ cause then you'll know that im a new yorker.
At least it was lucky that only Q died, I was thinking in a game so big there would have been at least 3 deaths.

Ekul: I don't get how you can get informations if your role is just plain innocent, do you mean information people told you? Anyway, I decided to give you the benefit of doubt for the time being. (I confess I'm a grammar nazi, and therefore biased.)

So, for now,
Vote: nobody
I'll most likely change it later, though.
