I've had IDB in my favorites for ages and used it mostly to look at weapons out of curiousity but I figured it was about time to ask for some help before I end up buying the wrong weapons with no hope of reaching my full potentional (within stat and price range).

Species : Korbat
Level : 30
Health : 44 / 59
Strength : EXCELLENT (55)
Defence : EXCELLENT (58)
Move : GREAT (27)
Intelligence : ULTIMATE GENIUS (225)

I'm currently putting her training on hold for now. My goal was to get to 55str then start working on a set that would last me awhile before hording dubloons and codestones again. Not sure if it really matters but she does have just about all the recommended faerie ablities (missing just a few in Light and Water). I was thinking about kitchen quests but I'm just now sure how useful they'll be since I have three pets (sides are full).

Species : Chia
Level : 16
Health : 225 / 210
Strength : EXCELLENT (49)
Defence : GREAT (37)
Move : AWESOME (60)
Intelligence : above average

100% lab. I'm probablly going to start zapping again since I don't have the will to save for a SuAP and I'm getting a little annoyed that I haven't been able to use the ray for over two weeks now (pound). There is nothing I can do about his stats except hope the ray will give me stats instead of changes.

I currently have Leaf Shield, Illusens Earth Potion, Snowglobe Staff, Tooth of Terask, Lesser Healing Scroll, Obsidian Dagger, Electro Sword, Scarab Ring, Downsize! and Bone Sceptre. The majority I've had for as long as I can remember and others I've just picked up because I found them really cheap. I used the Bone Sceptres for a long while because my Chia could just outlast most opponents. I had a Scroll of Freezing but I gave up after my second one broke within a week.

I only do 1P, I'm not interested in 2P whatsoever. Right now I've a little under 400k. Ideally I'd like to start saving for a set that'll only cost 1-2mil but will stay useful for as long as possible. The set will be for my Korbat but I'll be letting my Chia borrow some weapons from time to time (heh). I'm more than willing to wait and see the plot out before buying anything - I'm in no hurry no pay war prices.

I've looked through a few pages to try and form some idea of what to look for and I've seen Scuzzys Comb (x2), Golden Compass, Honey Potion, Ice Club. Stone Club and Blue Scorchstone suggested the most but I can't really make heads or tails.

I think thats everything. I'm sorry if I forgot anything or made this a tad bit long. Thanks!

Oh, before I really do forget. Agility wise, I've read that it really doesn't matter since there are only a few weapons that require a set amount of agi but is it a good idea to at least keep it say, half maxed just incase?
well for 1p the best thing you can do is to train STR and HP. Defense is not so important unless you plan to one day reach at least the 550 Defense boost, in which case I would continue to train Defense.

As for weapons:

Prickly potions are amazing for 1p since they use your opponents STR boost. But for the smaller opponents that you need to stomp through to get them to the higher boosts 2x scuzzys combs are great as well. Then just get the best healer you can probably blue SS or greater healing scroll (once you reach around 60-70HP).
One of the weapons that you have mentioned as being good is more of a 2 player weapon thatn a 1 player. The Golden Compass. They have really great icons, along with dark defense, but they are more expensive than some of the other 9 iconers because of this. They are great weapons in 2 player because of the icons and defence, but in 1 player they are not so good value where icon amounts vs price is what is more important. So in 2 player, the best 9 iconer is probably the Golden Compass but in 1 player it is the cheapest of the 9 iconers - the Ice Club

The others though, are all real good for 1 player. Smile
I wasn't sure how important it was but I figured it might be cheaper in the long run to keep it up as I go - besides, I think I've red that def can come in handy against the Space Faerie (I'm far off I know but getting the Space Faerie avatar has probablly the one thing I want most to accomplish within the next 6 years).

So Prickly Potions are good when fighting an opponent with high str but not all that worth it for the lower str opponents?

Whew, glad I decided to ask before buying. I probablly would of bought a Golden Compass for all the fuss I've heard about it.

So Prickly Potions, Scuzzys Combs, Blue Scorchstone/Greater Healing Scrolls and Ice Clubs. Thank you both very much - knowing which ones to stay clear of and which ones to look into is a huge help. I just wish I had looked into actually understanding the bd a lot sooner than this ^_^
Your 210HP pet could probably beat the space faerie now, there is a thread about it in the forums, use the search feature.
Sheesh, I always thought I'd actually have the code before even standing a chance at beating her. Thank you very much ^_^
