The idea is taht there is no way to prove that it makes noise.
Think about colors. How can you prove that what you see as yellow is what someone else sees as yellow?
Now think about how, just by looking at something and having your eyes and then brain interpret the waves (that alone distorts the "image") changes how it looks, you are distorting its actual appearance.
