I'm not a programmer so I don't know how easy it would be to implement, but I think it would be really neat if there were a tool to tell raters which weapons haven't been rated in a while (more than a year?). The Status page says which weapons haven't been rated AT ALL, which is fine, but just today I was looking at Ramtor and Scuzzys and their writeups are badly out of date. These are popular and important weapons, but unless one of our new raters just happens to stumble across them, they'll have no way of knowing they need updates.

The obvious problem I see with my idea is that there are a lot of weapons that don't NEED to be updated. Wet Snowball was crap 5 years ago and it's still crap. Smile So there needs to be some kind of filter in place. Such as:

  • autoflag only weapons that are worth more than, say, 10K
  • no autoflag, allow users to flag weapons by request
  • allow raters to flag weapons, or, if we go the autoflag route, allow them to UNflag weapons

If this is utterly unprogrammable, I understand, but I do think it would be nice. In the meanwhile, could someone please update the Neoquest II prizes? Blink
I did WoR and BoD last night, and I'll get to the others as soon as I can. I'm sure the other raters are on it, too!
Most definitely, Cran! Wink

Having such a tool would be helpful. But in the meantime, we need help from people like you to keep us on our toes. Thanks for the kick! Wink

UPDATED:

New ratings for Ramtors Spellbook and Scuzzys Comb up... along with Halo Of Devilpuss, Rohanes Armour Polish, Staff Of Righteous Fury, Sword Of Apocalypse and Tooth Of Terask, heh.
Just further keep you on your toes mates, you said Scuzzys Comb had new ratings when at the moment I checked (aka 12 seconds before posting) it does not
Eek! What happened to what I wrote! Ohmy

Sheesh... Guess I need retype again... Cry

EDIT: Done and updated with the considerations in mind. Thanks for the heads up Big Grin
One note about the price comment on the HoD - that's the recent war inflation talking. As far as I know, the price is actually more like 50k, rather than hovering around UB.
