Kage, 768 Kbps translates to 96 KB/s.
96 KB/s is nowhere near mine. I have at the moment 356 KB/s-ish downloading Song Packs for Stepmania.

It says "up to" so I guess you have to subtract some to see what you'd actually get. My home connection is great and is a little over 3.0 Mbps according to internet speedtests. I'd suggest the "Pro" or "Express" packages, although the "Basic" would at least be better than dialup. "Elite" is probably more than you need.

So the hardware came today! I just came home, and I heard a small *thud* at the door. When I went to open it, there was a package at the front steps!! So I have some stuff that I have no idea what to do
My dad decided to choose the "service activation day" for May 18, this Friday (even though it said May 16 is the earliest possible time..). So I need to wait until Friday/Saturday before I can install my DSL
I ended up getting the 1.5 Mbps speed. I tried getting the next plan up, but my parents wouldn't budge...
Can't wait to install it!
