Did the training school change in the last 6 months? Or are you talking about changes from like, 4-5 years ago.

No not in the last six months o_o It was quite a while ago, but not 4 or 5 years ago.

I should point out that hitting 500 plus HP doesn't mean you have to switch to the Ninja Training School... you could still train HP as high as 750 staying with the Mystery Island Training School. Of course, you wouldn't be able to train strength and defense. But for someone who's very consistent with their KQing (and labbing for strength), it could be worth it since KQs will eventually take them to 700 anyway.
