Am I the only one addicted to this show?

I'm rooting for Melinda. I think she's the most talented =D

I think most people are going for Melinda. Blake is second for me (because the other guys suck).

Sanjaya was my papaya.

I think the whole concept of American Idol is kinda dumb...great singer does not equal good song. Even with great players of instruments, including voice, it means nothing unless the song itself is good. Most of the music I listen to is either voiceless electronica or Japanese, so...who the "American Idol" is doesn't matter to me.

Yeah, and what's better is that American Idol is basically a popularity contest. But really though, it's advertised as a singing competition, when in reality it's just a cross between a popularity contest and who has personality in their music (ie: a good song).

I mostly watch it because I like watching people sing. *shrugs*

Fore me Melinda is going to win and either Jordan or Lakisha will take second. I really don't see Blake going that far. Ge does put his own spin on songs but they don't always turn out so good. Half the reason he has made it this far was partially of his looks. When Sanjaya made pretty far is was mostly because of 3 things. 1. Looks, 2. Personality & 3. Howard K. Stern because he was backing Sanjaya up telling his fans to vote for him.

This season, I've found myself watching more for the established singers performing on the results show, lol. Oh, and for Blake, too. Completely unjustified bias, of course.

With each new season though, I've found myself watching Idol less and less...

I was watching American Idol Rewind too

And I remember this performance in which Tamyra Gray should have won based solely on that performance

very very true... and i think this year will be dumb like last year too

I never watched the show. I tried one year because my English teacher was addicted to it but I just couldnt make it through an entire show.
