All the battledome challengers are cleared away! and there's only this monster with difficulty +15 btw in the dome. So is this considered a war? LOL, excuse me....but I really don't know what it looks like during a war..
As I recall, the LDP Opponents replaced all the Opponents in the Dome (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that), and ToW definitely did.

It's not "officially" a war yet, but new plot-Opponents to battle works for some of us.
Maybe it's going to be a mix of puzzle, BD, and games.
First good sign: Stealers are disabled.

Weapon List:
Slime Potion
Mud Mixture
Snow Mudball
Slorg Slime - Appears to block all light
Is there any advantage -- points or anything -- to beating the Ravenous Monster over and over again??

We don't know how the scoring for this works. Maybe there would also be a limit in points just like in Tale of Woe
I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet, just fight the monster as many times as possible. It could just be part of a puzzle step, so don't freak out and buy a ton of weapons. Wait 'till more evidence of war possibility appears.

This is probably just another war/puzzle hybrid. But ya never know.

Weapons have already started to inflate (the Clubs are unbuyable). I really hate to say it, but the weapons are only going to get more expensive if this really is a war, or has enough battling to be worth battling in.
I got this weird result on my last turn:

You defend yourself against Ravenous Monster's earth attack with the Warriors Rectangular Shield, and now the shield has magically disappeared!

Is my shield SEMI-FRAGILE?  Or is there something else going on here?

Edit: In further testing, it displays this message every time that my shield blocks Earth only, but does not in fact "disappear" and can be used normally in the same battle. It is not semi-fragile, although TNT may have intended it to be originally.

Not that we're aware. If it is, report it in the Weapon Info and Updates.
How many times should I beat it?
