I really hope this is a 25 day late April fools prank. The new layout is WAY to wide, and WAY to graphics heavy. It's like force browsing with the portal.
I don't want my fire shoyru anymore. In fact, they screwed up a whole mess of pets. The old graphics for mutant draiks was better. I'm still on the fence on mutant lupes though, the new look might be a tad better (but I'm still going to refrain from converting it for now).
My darigan lupe has the option to stay the same, thank god for that, he is my main battle pet.
They should have kept the sidebar though. This looks a lot like the premium portal, and that's a bad thing. The option to choose skins would be a godsend. In fact, the option to keep the site layout and pet graphics the old way would fix all complaints neo will get.
Not like I would have done neoschools, but I bet the time to create this would have been better spent on that project.
This is pathetic. User lookups are ruined. The new skin is so huge I had to change my resolution so I didn't have to side scroll! Worst of all though is the page loading. For those people who only have access to dial-up (like me)... the page loads are upwards of 30+ seconds a page. UGH!
Meh. I don't really LIKE the new look, but it's not such a big change I hate it.
The only thing I don't like is the way they made the Shadow Shoyru look(Yuck) and possibly a few other I haven't seen. So I'm kind of indifferent.
Why does everyone go hysterical when there's a change. I'm glad to see that neo finally decided to try someting new at least.. practically the same layout for what.. 8 years? Is a bit lame. There are a lot of things that need fixing... I'm not going to complain about the new layout, but I hope they actually listen to users and take out the things that don't work and add things that will make it better... If they do, I think it'd be nice
It needs the clock moved back to the sidebar for restockers, have that entire width where the clock currently is removed from the side, and it needs Neopia Central to actually matter again.
On a related note: malling may or may not have just become obsolete.

Eh, I liked the old layout. If it had stayed like that forever, I would have been fine. And I don't see what's so bad about "being in the 90s..." I liked the 90s a fair bit...
But you do have a point. While I DO dislike the new layout/ look, I'm trying to keep my complaints based on specific issues I have with it: "User made layouts (ULs ect) Died" "The screen is to wide for my liking" "The drop down menus at the top which replaced the sidebar links take longer/ are harder to use" "It's graphic heavy, causing lag" "The images changed" ect. Instead of "ONG THE NEW LAYOUT STINKS GIVE US THE OLD ONE BACK OR ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I figure the issues I have with it are more likely to be addressed if actually say what those issues are instead of condeming the entirity of the new layout. I'm rational about my complaints and.

At least page loads have gotten significantly faster. I can forgive the sidescrolling as long as I can trade without having to wait forever 
But I don't like how all the work that people put into their user lookups have gone kablooey!

Well, I was definitely not prepared for that.
There is a lot more information on each page that makes everything more accessible, but at the same time it all seems very cluttered. It's probably something you just have to get used to, I guess.
Yeah, I don't have my own lookup, but was in the middle of making one, so I feel bad for people who made their own lookups.
I hope they do give the option of having your neopet look the way it was before to more neopets....cause my chia doesn't look as cute anymore.
Lol, and I liked the old shoyru better too, I think.
It seems they really put a lot of work into it though, or is it all copied over from premium?
I like the new game though.
