I was just sorta curious, so I made this poll.

AHH, I must care about the BD more though, as I pounded my three other beautiful painted pets (so I could do faerie/kitchen quests), and used the lab ray on my current painted tonu, I miss all those beautiful pets though!

At 51K per non-Zed Codestone (and still being in the first tier of Ninja Training), the Lab is too valuable for me to morph/paint my Pet into a Darigan Draik, which is what I want (granted, for BD application, I prefer the Kau's overall resistance, though the Draik has fair resistance).

I used to care about color, though. Originally I painted my Ixi to Electric, I painted my Zafara to Christmas, and I adopted a Fire Acara (just because it looked cool). I don't own the Zafara (which became a Techo) or the Acara anymore, though.

The Lab's too unreliable for species/color, in my opinion. I'm only averaging about one species and one color change per month.


You didn't make a Lab choice (well, not a Lab > Species/Color choice). Though, once I hit 700 Strength, I may just morph/paint my pet to Darigan Draik. Otherwise I'll be labbing forever.

I do indeed! I bore with my Kyrii's horrible 2-icon species abilities, lack of resistances and Species healer simply because the Fire Kyrii just looked so incredibly cool! I also refused to touch the Lab Ray for this reason. It was only when they changed the artwork for the Kyrii and made it look absolutely horrible that I morphed him. (Pity about the SkippertheKyrii name though. *sigh*) Even then I was adamant that my pet would remain painted that I shelled out 600k+ for an Island Gelert Morphing Potion instead of the 400k or so for a basic colour. Course if I'd known that I would get iced and my colour reset to green then my decision would've been different, heh.

I'm currently waiting for TNT to release the Desert Gelert, since no other Gelert colour really appeals to me. Been waiting a while though...

I don't really, but my current Darigan Scorchio looks nice, thanks to the lab.

Most definitely I do care "appout" my pet species/look.

I advocate the importance of pet species in the BD, and thus I make my choice of morphing my Lupe to a Lenny based on that.

However, I would like to one day morph my pet back to what it was before: a Darigan Lupe. And I seriously don't mind spending the NPs for a Bag of Healing Dust and Freezing Potion. Frost Arthur has too much Lupe blood in him to look anything remotely like a chicken...

I've bought several PB's/transmogs before. I care a pretty decent amount what species/color my pet is, but it's forgivable for lab training. I'd just morph it once I'm done with a certain period.

I don't lab train nowadays anymore.

Like Shattered, gaining stats is more important than any specie advantage I would get. So to answer your question, no, I don't care
