I do care right now because I have a Kacheek and like the healer. But I am considering using the lab ray and just morphing back into the kacheek next plot/war because gaining some free stats is more important

I like to keep my pet a pteri for the air resistance, but I still lab. I could care less about color, but if a tourney is coming up I will morph to pteri.

Yeah, I do. My battle pet is a Disco Shoyru for the simple fact it looks so cool(Although the slight fire Resistance is nice). I also have a Desert Shoyru and Shadow Shoyru, planning on either an Electric Shoyru or Halloween Shoyru for the last one.

I care about keeping my mutant scorchio. I was downright mad when boochi made him a baby. I took that I only care about it a little because I would like a mutant draik but I am too cheap to get one..well I guess I've had the mutant scorchio for so long it would be weird not to have him though :S

I'll (mostly) just talk about my battlepet, or this will end up too long.

His name is Alaskawolf, and he started out as a yellow lupe, painted white. I should have known better than to pick a name that was only really good for one species, but I wasn't really thinking! I labbed him sometimes, always changing him back to lupe (either mutant or white) when I felt like taking a lab ray break. Then I decided to stop labbing altogether and fix up my horribly messed-up defence, and I also felt like a color change, so he became a Tyrannian Lupe.


He stayed like that for a while, but finally the lack of species healer got to me. I wanted to make him a gelert, because "wolf" would fit that species better than, say, a Lenny, but I hated every single gelert color except spotted (which was too puppyish for a battlepet) and grey (too depressed). Finally TNT released a mutant gelert, and I love it... so now he's a gelert with a nice healer, and he'll stay that way for quite some time.


I definitely want my pets to look nice, because I have to look at them all the time! And I care about the gender and color of the one that's named after me (well, named after my main account, anyway -- I didn't even create her myself; I found her in the pound). I lab her now, always making her a girl again if the lab switches it. Someday she'll be a royalgirl kau, because that's the pet that most looks like me (well, I'm not fat or yellow and I don't have horns, but we have the same hair color and facial expressions ).

If I cared about appearance, I would have stopped labbing when I got a Jelly Chomby,
Mutant Draik, or my current Gold Meerca. The stats are more important to me than the color, but if I ever get reasonably high stats and want to stop labbing, I'll morph into a Pteri and paint it a decent color. I don't think that's ever going to happen though

Hmm.. I should look for a pet that looks like me too...

Well, if you're talking about species only, then probably it's a yes. If you're including colour, I'd have to say, not really. If I ever get lucky in the lab and it changes my pet into a Kacheek, I'd probably stick with it since it has the cheapest specie healer that's actually worth thinking about. Along with colour, I don't think I really care much about it, but I do like my current Darigan Scorchio.

The level of destructiveness comes before appearance.

If it weren't for the lab ray, all four of my pets would be the same species I created them to be. I keep my eyes open for paint brushes that appeal to how I think my pets should look. My eyrie is darigan, and my scorchio is island. I haven't found a lupe look I like better then yellow, so he's as I made him. If it weren't for the lab, Silvak would be an electric grarrl, and he will be when I'm done zapping him thanks to a generous friend.

As reiksguardknight I keep my eyes open for paint brushes that appeal to how I think my pet should look.
I love the specie (i know is not the best to battle but...) but his color has to be made yet. And as a plus i can have an avatar that show my pet.

Then my answer shoud be "Yes, but i have to find a nice color/specie yet"
