Signature of the Week #1

Theme: Freestyle

I am very excited to present to you the very first Signature of the Week to be hosted on iDB! I hope many of you participate, so that this competition can be a success!

Please follow the rules below!

- Please follow the theme! If the theme is freestyle, that means there is no theme and you can basically enter whatever you want.

- Only one entry per member, but you may edit your entry at any time before voting starts.

- The signature you entered must be made by yourself!

- Nothing inappropriate or "suggestive" on the signatures, please.

- Please keep all signature entries within the iDB signature size requirements posted here.

- You may not win two Signature of the Weeks in a row.

- Your signature will be disqualified if you do not follow these rules!

- Have fun!

Due Date: April 28th

I guess I'll start things off with something uncreative (one I already made)...

I don't like the size limits Sad
Despite the fact that when I found out the height limit for sigs here was only 100px.. I decided to try my hand at this. ^^

I do want to explain a little bit just so you understand. 'Someday for Somebody' is the name of Kame's solo song off of KAT-TUN's new album, "Cartoon KAT-TUN II You'. And I did make an avatar to go with it in case I ever want to use it in the future.. and because I have issues with just making only a sig. Toungue

Not very good.. but I'm so busy I couldn't make better for this week ;_;
By the way, I need the opinion of you guys on something. I realized I haven't determined a method of choosing the signature of the week winner yet. So there are several methods, I want to hear your opinion on your preferred method.

1. Open poll. I and/or several "judges" pick the winner from the 2/3 with the most votes.

2. Open poll, signature with the most votes wins.

3. I and/or several "judges" decide the winner. No voting ensues.

I would personally like to say that I prefer numbers 1 or 3, as I don't want to leave it completely at users' discretion. Because often people will vote because somebody told them to, or they like the theme portrayed in the signature (favorite T.V. show, etc.) There's always a sort of Bias, I feel, if I leave it a open poll. So sometimes, the best signature graphic-wise may not win. The advantages of option 1 are that users feel like they actually have an impact on this competition, but the voting will take some time and there will be a period of time before the next SotW. Advantage of number 3 is that a winner should be picked rather quickly and a new round could start.
I say 1.. it allows people to have a say but doesn't make it a popularity contest
