Posting
When you are putting up a graphic or some kind of art for other people to rate, you may create a new thread. However, please try not to post a new thread too often. A good rule of thumb is about two threads a week. If you have made something new, you can always just edit the graphic/art in one of your old threads. This keeps the spam down and the forum less cluttered.
Constructive Criticism
This may be the most important point for all replies in this forum. When you are commenting on somebody's artwork, please give constructive criticism. If you dislike the graphic, please don't say something like:
"This sucks. 1/10"
Please give constructive criticism, which means being a little more specific on what you didn't like, and how the artist may improve. Always keep a positive attitude in your posts! For example, instead of saying "This Sucks", a better, more thoughtful post could be:
"I don't like this graphic, but I do think it has a lot of potential. For example, I really like your color choices, but I think if you had used a different font, perhaps Garamond instead of Arial, it would really pull the graphic together!"
Ripping/Stealing
For the most part, please post your own work in this forum! However, if you do want somebody else's work rated, please be sure to ask for their permission first! And state specifically in your first post that the graphic was not made by yourself. Taking somebody else's work and calling it your own is a serious offense!

Requesting / Request Boards
Request Boards
A request boards are started by artists who will take requests from other people. If you are thinking about starting a thread, make sure that you state specifically in your thread title that this thread is a 'Request Board'.
As the owner of a request board, you have some duties. For example, if you are not taking any more requests for whatever reason, please contact a forum moderator and ask them to lock your thread. Also, in your first post, it would be helpful to post some examples of your previous work, so that requesters know what to expect. Laying out some rules are a good idea, as well.
Requesters:
If you are requesting from a request board, please be sure to abide by some forum etiquette. Please read the request board's first post thoroughly, and make sure you understand all of the conditions of requesting. Please be patient, as the person you are requesting from is doing a very generous service for free.
Open Requests:
From now on, you may not make a new thread if you want to request something! Either request from one of the existing request boards, or make a post in the stickied Open Requests thread.
