Well, lots of you play, but few actually ever MC (it's a big task)... but I'm sure lots of you have little ideas for plots, characters, powers ect... If you have an awesome idea you'd like to see possibly put in action (at the MC's discretion), just post it here!
I've hosted one game so I know how difficult it is to host, and I know my idea would be extremely hard too, but I was thinking that everyone would sign up for a game, and then sign ups would end and the names of the players would be exchanged, so that I could be say, the OMT but my role name would be "Forte". Or something with the exchange of iDB players and a game literally "in the forums". It's as hard to understand as it would be to host, but it would be different.

ooga problem with that is what constitutes another members role. Would they have a say in what abilities they want their "character" to does?. You wouldn't want a member to find out they're character has no ability when someone just like them has an ability.
I played a game very similar to the one you proposed Ooga. It was much like what Bunny said.
However, the idea is new here, and it definatly makes for a different game (imagine having to make up a role if you're a baddie?
)
I was assuming that a randomizer would be used or you could file them by trait. Y'know, Forte's the godministrator. Bunny's way would work too but you would need a randomizer because few people wouldn't wanna be the OMT.

I'm planning to do another Season Finale WW sometime soon, that I would be willing to host. Ironically, the show that won last game (Invasion) was not renewed for another season
as an idea... a LOTR setting with WW would get alot of attention, it'd be hard to set up however, but i mean can you guys just see a host saying, "slayed by orc arrows" gosh it'd be funny
Ive always loved the idea of "Open" roles.
In the games I've used them, they have worked well and added quite a new element to the game because their role is meant to be known to all. Depending on how you set it up, they can easily be of any alignment.
The piviotal point however is, they cannot be allowed to freely send or recieve PM's lest it be too easy to establish a bloc.
A few examples...
A had an innocent potion giver, an inventor basically, who was unkillable unless the King (who was unknown) died. The person was required to hand out at least two potions a day, and sometimes they went to evil persons who asked.
I had the Co-Stewards in my last game who were evil, and in a very much Harry Potter fashion - I'm pleased to say horacruxes were 'my" idea first
- to kill the Stewads was only possible if all other of thier team went down. However, they did not know their team, and PM's were banned. They *did* have he ability to send a PM, once or twice, but through me to thier cohorts - no reply was admitted. Their roles slowly became more powerful as thier chorts went down. I'm pleased to say that it went rather well, and the final five contained members from all alliances, all of whom could have plausibly won.
o yes, and people, lol heres my thoughts on LOTR kind of thing, i have way more, but i posted this in the groupies thread of my first game, and thought everyone might want to see it. i got idea's if you want to host this, as it would be awseme
lol so i think someone should make a Lord of the Rings WW game. i mean can you just see the plot? the characters? the werewolfs would be like warg wolves or whatever, i mean can you just see the other baddie team? "slayed by orc arrows" i mean we could get a elf to be the dreamer's & rezzer, the host good be the evil eye of sauron, the one man team could be sauraman, theres so much fun stuff you could do, i wish a LOTR activist would come along and host one, if i werent so un-dependable i would, but i could never make this a daily thing, im in a very ~whever-i-can-get-online-but-other-things-come-first~ kind of family. so lol if you like that, i have some great idea's too offer
