o_O Mystical white cloak? huh..

Erm...because nowadays a lot of weapons deal with air, dark and light? Every intermediate battler has a golden compass and this weapon can defend 6 out of the 9 icons that Golden Compass deal. Ramtor spellbook will also get 6 out of 10 blocked. Same goes for Psellias Fighting Fan and Earth Faerie Slingshot so I decided to choose this.



I know I'm inexperienced...but I thought this was the shield that intermediate battlers need..

However, you're giving up a slot to defend less than a full weapon. In the case of the golden compass, they still have 3 icons through and some defense uncontested. Your other weapon would need to deal more than 3 icons more than their other weapon... I think the cloak doesn't block enough icons...

Mystical White Cloak It's not a definite must have, but it can still be a crucial shield in situational use. First of all, it's probably one of the best beginner/intermediate shields to use for blocking off light and dark icons that tend to leak past Burrow.

True, it might not be able to shut out most of the weapons that are widely available out there, but as the case with all the above shields, which weapon does actually "shuts out" alot of weapon? Leaf Shield shuts out Essence of Esophagor, but only blocks half of Pike Pike and abit of Scuzzys Comb. Patched Magic Hat is godly against SC, but blocks only half of EoE and Pike Pike. I would have chosen Sophies Magic Hat personally, but now look at the current price!

Anyway, there is one weapon that this cheap shield could shut out: Air Faerie Crown. (One may argue that the AFC user will still have enough power to overcome your defences with their second weapon (most likely in a pairing of a Mask of Coltzan or a Bow of Destiny, but then again that would be elaborating more on weapon combo, and tactical BD studies, which is very subjective).

I don't like Sophies Magic Hat. The fire/physical can be defended with the Scarab Ring, and the dark is taken care of with the Golden Compass, both of which every intermediate battler should have. Personally I'm leaning toward the Leaf Shield, because there are so many other weapons that defend light (Sword of the Dead, Ethereal Sword, Dusty Magic Broom, Air Faerie Crown).

You're suggesting Patched Magic Hat

I think his point is that since so many dual-duties already block light, the Leaf Shield is better because it doesn't block light.

I messed the weapons up , I though they attacked with light icons lol
