Quick question - if you have a Greater Healing Scroll, and it heals you "almost to max" and you're only allowed to equip ONE healer, WHY????????? do you have a Blue Scorchstone in your Safe Deposit Box? I know it's not all that expensive, but about all it does for you is tie up 10,000 nps that could go toward training or improving your set elsewhere.

a solid set... you could replace skeletal fire gun with a steaming skeem potion, which deals 8/11 icons for about the same price and is just as hard, if not harder, to block. pmh and earth scorchstone defend a nice range of icons, water and fire get through though... a scarab ring can always be handy, replace pff with that... once you sell pff you'll have about 600k, and you seem to lean toward 2player more if i'm correct... not much you can do but with 10 iconers, a scuzzys comb somewhere is about as much as i can recommend... consider saving for honey potion, though.
You're running into G-Shields are your level?

It looks to me like you're running too many shields and not enough dual-duties. In order for a shield to be truly effective, it needs to yield a higher net icon total than a dual-duty or a weapon in its place would. For a shield to do that, it needs to at least be blocking half of your opponent's attack. I'm placing my money that none of your shields are accomplishing that.

Swap the Psellias Fighting Fan for a second Golden Compass. The Fire will be harder to block than the Physical, and the extra Dark defense should render your Earthen Scorchstone unnecessary. The only Air-heavy I can think of is Ethereal Sword (which I would recommend if you're seeing Scuzzys or Ramtors often: which would also cause me to recommend dropping the Patched Magic Hat, possibly replacing it with Leaf Shield, though the only weapon I can think of that takes enough of a hit from Leaf Shield is Essence of Esophagor).
All I'd say about your set is that you should put the Downsize! back into it. What it replaces is up to you.

As for training, don't train level. Keep training your strength and defence until the Academy disallows, then train level back up to train strength and defence again. If you train level now, you'll be paying a Five Dubloon Coin every time and you'll have to wait a couple more hours until training is done. After outgrowing the Krawk Island Swashbuckling Academy at level 40 with the 85 boosts, move to Mystery Island Training School.
you havent to worry about the G-Shields for now, as Shattered Rift said, but about scarab rings... this is for now something to care about. Now, for your set, you will need more dual dutties, and you could do this:

Your Set
Scarab Ring or Winged Scarab
Steaming Skeem Potion
Golden Compass
Sword of the Dead
Greater Healing Scroll
Black Frost Cannon
Downsize!
Leaf Shield or Magic Patched Hat

Sell
Jittery Jipple Potion
Pike Pike
Skeletal Fire Gun
Blue Scorchstone
Basic Shield of Flight
Shiny Shoal Shell Shield
Fighting Folder

Keep in SDB
Earthen Scorchstone
Icy Snowball
Purple Sticky Hand
Shooting Star Muffin
Flaming Oven Gloves

As you can see, you can defend even every icon, but you have to decide between winged scarab, scarab ring or put booth and quit Downsize!, the leaf shield can be exchanged by Magic Patched Hat when you need to defend earth and phys, Flaming Oven Gloves when you need to defend extra fire or completely block Skeletal Fire Gun and Earthen Scorchstone for the Jittery Jipple Potion. The one use bombs could serve when you are in important battles.
About the weapons to sell, the Jittery Jipple Potion is easy defended by the earthen scorchstone, if you want keep the Pike Pike then go, replace in certain battles with Steaming Skeem Potion, the Blue Scorchstone its an innecesary spend while you have the GHS, the Fighting Folder looks atractive healing while you attacks, but you will fell in front of a Scarab Ring, the Basic Shield of Flight isnt neccesary while you have the ESS, and SSSS its affected by fractionals so, go over this.
For most people, never have the Black Frost Cannon in 2-player battles.  For me, never have the Black Frost Cannon in any battle.

I don't know why, but it takes ages for people to actually realise that you could lose the battle before you successfully freeze your opponent (if you are able to do so at all).  Some argue that even if it fails to freeze, it still does a couple of icons to your opponent.  So what?  The amount of icons it does is way less than your constant attackers, so you'd probably be dealing way more damage with your constant attacker than the Black Frost Cannon.  Also, the Water*water*Water+Physical*physical* is just so easily to block that you'd probably be doing 0 damage with it. I have still yet to know the rules of the league thing, so I'm not sure if freezing is allowed.  As for guild wars, many guilds disallow freezing.  I would advise you never to put the Black Frost Cannon in your set, unless you're helping the iDB to make another test of its freezing rate.
Golden Compass
Psellias Fighting Fan
Greater Healing Scroll
Patched Magic Hat
Earthen Scorchstone
Skeletal Fire Gun
Pike Pike
Jittery Jipple Potion

I assume you do 2p more because of the JJP. If not, say otherwise so that I can change my advice Wink

Like Shatttered said, I think you're running too many shields. Now, If you're into non 100% freezers, then a black frost cannon is the way to go. Take out one of your shields and keep on going. I don't like them however, and incase you don't either, I'll give you the non freezer set:

Steaming Skeem Potion
Jittery Jipple Potion
Scuzzys Comb/Staff of Righteous Fury
Golden Compass
Thief Dagger
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Scarab Ring/Ice Club/Stone Club/Purple Sticky Hand

Now, that will leave you with an 11 icon weapon, 2 10 icon weapons, and 2 weapons that are good to use when versing the NQ2 weapons, not to mention the compass is a good backup weapon. For the last slot it's all about preference. The Scarab Ring is good situationally and is useful as a shield with a bit of attack as it defends common icons. The Ice/Stone Club is if you feel you need another backup weapon and the purple sticky hand is if you like to steal.

The rest of your money should be invested into training. Try to get the 55 boosts and level 30 for sink. Your hitpoints don't need trained up anymore for awhile, atleast till you hit the 55 boosts. You may want to get your str and def to 60 first though, if lvl 30 is more codestones than lvl 29. I don't remember.

Edit: Got distracted towards the end of this then finished it later. I just gotta add: the Downsize! is a great situational item useful in 2p

Edit2: As for the Steaming Skeem Potion, I feel it's a good buy, but in the last week (maybe it's been 2 weeks) it's dropped from about 250k to 100k. I"m personally waiting till they hit about 50k to buy one, but it's your choice. My guess is they will still drop in price a bit from what they are now (100k)
Dead_Water, you can train any stat up to thrice your level, but you'll have to train it back up within half your health to continue training other stats.

Really? Cool... I thought it was just health you could train 3x your level.

Anyway, all I meant was: I'm too lazy to look it up, but if it costs more to train once your level hits 30, train all your stats to 58 atleast before you hit level 30 Wink

Er...I guess I should of said this:

1 Player or 2-Player: 2-Player mainly.

Also, I have sink. But I lost a level on deadly dice(Brought me down to 29).

Thank you all for the advice.
