ok guys, im one stock sale away from being a neo millionaire again so another upgrade of my set is in order.
-800k of that mil is going for a Honey Potion! Finally!
-100k more to spend on weapons, what to get?

my questions:
-which weapon should the hp replace?
-im thinking of selling the stone club, cuz i just got a pff which is sort of an upgrade. Am I right to do this?
-how valuable is my scarab ring in this level of battling cuz i still use it during first turns to find out what weapons my opponents have?
-should i get rid of the sword of the dead? If yes, should i get one of the 7 icon/fractional dual duties like Amulet of Inevitable Betrayal, Cloudy Wand of Storms, Frozen Wand of Crystals, etc(if so, which one)...or is there a better alternative?
-is BFC worth the extra 200k compared to my RFC?
-does any other weapon of mine need upgrading?

anyway, DONT TELL ME TO KEEP TRAINING cause eventhough i know the 85 boost is not far away, im on a personal crusade against the hike in codestone prices...so the stats wont go further than 80 at everything... thank you capn.threelegs for only charging me 9k for training, instead of 24k!!

ohhh... and i play both 1p and 2p and eventhough i hate rotating my sets, i dont mind doing it to fit the jjp in...
-also, i dont plan on upgrading to a NQ2 10 iconer so dont tell me to get one, in fact, i just sold a scuzzys comb! if possible, i want to upgrade straight to a 13 iconer but that gonna take time...if someone can persuade me to upgrade to a 10 or an 11 iconer in the mean time, some rep for u

I would recommend the following set:
Rainbow Frost Cannon
Downsize!
Sword of the Dead
Psellias Fighting Fan/Jittery Jipple Potion
Golden Compass
Greater Healing Scroll
Honey Potion

SotD is still good at killing NQII weapons. I am not a huge fan of the % freezers, but if it works for you, go with it. Scarab rings main purpose in your current set is against SoA or SFG, which seems limited compared to using the SotD.
I think sword of the dead is better than AoIB since against a RSB or SC, the best you will do with the AoIB is draw, SotD will come out ahead by 1 icon. SotD Will also at least trade with random 9 iconners with 3 light icons.
Im not sure why you are not upgrading to a 10-11 iconner. Do you have any rational not to? RSB destroys burrow, which is nice, although it does take flack from the 5 most common dual duties at your level: AFC, MoC, SotD, GoC, DMB.
I would go try to get a GeB, RSB, and GoC for my 3 constants, although I think you are a few NP short of this. GEB gets around the most common dual duties, GoC also gets around most of the Dual Duties as well as attacking opposing RSBs. RSB destroys Burrow and can also help to possible draw your opponent into using a GoC instead of another weapon.

As for not training though... Why would have you have wasted the extra ~675K for cosmetic stat upgrades from the 55 boost? You realize that the extra 25 STR,DEF, and MOV do nothing for you until 85 correct? I am pretty sure that movement doesn't do anything until 200 when you can use HRoT. Your argument is that now training costs 24K/Stat as opposed to 9K, but the extra 240K to train to the next boosts seems like nothing compared to the 675K that you are wasting if you do not reach the next boost. You also are assuming that each codestone will cost 8K, when ~6K would be a more reasonable estimate. For 1p reaching the next STR boost will allow you to defeat many more opponents. The only reason to hold back training is if you wanted to stay at that boost for guild boost wars, where you are probably outclassed by 230+HP 55 Boosters with a BoK anyways.

Between Stone Club, PFF and Golden Compass you have 3 solid offensive weapons, but not a whole lot of icon variety. With the JJ potion that's 4 offensive weapons, which is more than you'll need at that level. The only reason to use that much pure offense is if you want to be able to stack different icons to overrun different shields, but you don't stack more than 8 of anything between all 4 of those. So drop one for the honey potion

Yeah, lose one or the other. PFF is likely just a hair better.

If you have even or better defense, you don't completely outgrow the Scarab Ring until you are at 13 icon offensive multiuse weapons. It's cheap because it's ultra common, not because it's weak. Remember that at even stats it comes out even or better against Tyrannian Lupe Tooth, Fire Hammer, Stone Club, Ice Club, PFF, Royal Wedding Ring, Sword of Apocalypse, Garoo Elite Blaster, and a number of less common 6+ icon weapons. At the moment, it's the most practical fire defense weapon cheaper than the Clawed Shield.

Light defense is huge at your level of battling. PFF, GoC, Scuzzys, SoRF, RSB, AfC, and Bzzt Blaster all deal significant light. The earth or water defense offered by those wands isn't bad, but neither earth nor water is going to be as common, and it's easy enough to swap in a leaf shield to handle them.

While normally I like AoIB a little better than SotD for the additional offense, I'd recommend that you stick with SotD as you already have plenty of offensive options. It's worth noting that SotD comes out fractionally ahead against Scuzzys and RSB while AoIB only comes out even. Think of your SotD as a shield that also does a little damage, not as an offensive weapon.

Yes.

Assuming that Garet's stats on both are accurate, then BFC's slight increase in both damage and freezing percentage is roughly equivalent to dealing another icon of damage. Other weapons in that price range cost 200k or more to upgrade another icon (Ice Club to Scuzzys Comb).

For percentage freezers, it's probably also worth keeping an eye on the price of Tangle Net Gun although more testing is needed on that one. And of course, in the long run, you need to save towards a 100% freezer

Yes, but in light of your budget the only one that might be practical would be upgrading your PFF to another Golden Compass.

Okay then. I'll just point out that the 85 boost is a 25% increase in damage per icon on all your weapons, which would effectively upgrade your 9 icon weapons to 11.25 icon weapons.

And I'll also mention that Kitchen Quests, Coltzans Shrine, and Turmy can all give you stat points without having to buy codestones.

Seriously, just do any K-Quest that costs less than 2250 (9000/4) divided by the number of pets you have and you'll be getting stats even cheaper than you are from threelegs, albeit rather slowly since most k-quests will run more than that.

If you are willing to use a few codestones thenTerror Trove Scratchcards can also make things cheaper for you.

At the moment, I think the only 11 iconer worth watching is the Steaming Skeem Potion, which is similar to your JJP in that it seems to have different 1p and 2p icon totals. The price on that should drop though. The other 11 iconers can have roles as backup weapons in more expensive sets, but I'd be concerned about icon inflation ruining their value if you wanted them as primary weapons. If you were buying in the 11-icon range, I'd recommend going for dual duties like Air Faerie Crown instead.

I'm actually gonna recomend you sell the Psellias Fighting Fan instead of the Stone Club... The Fan's worth more, and the 3 light icons versus the 3 earth icons (the only difference between the fan and the club) really isn't worth keeping the fan over the club. For 1p, 9 icons is 9 icons, regaurdless of type, and while I can't say much about 2 player... I still don't think it's worth it.

Also, I'm actually gonna argue that you SHOULD skip the 11 iconers... They're not THAT much cheaper than the 13 iconers, and the hassle of buying/ selling an extra time isn't worth it.

Also, I would like to note that if you're really set on not training, that's your biusness, but even if you had SoS, PCC, G-Bomb, Freezing Potion, LEV, and T-Tear, You'll never never get anywhere big in the BD with a 55 boost pet.

really? i thought dual dual duties was a bad thing...financially its not a problem. I have a 'friend' that can sell me one for 100k...but i always thought i should never do it... plus the only weapon i can think of that does more than 3 dark icons that i come up against often is RSB and i actually see more MoC's than RSB's! The battledomers are getting rich!

Actually, The lowest on the TP for the PFF is 104K, and it is not on the SSW at all, whereas stone club's cheapest is just under 90K. So at least a 14K diffence. Still not worth it, in my opinion.

didnt realise it, cuz i bought my stone club for 99k and my pff for 104k...did common math
anyway, 14k is too little for me to see this as wasteful...14k will finish in one day of stocks!
