I've been gathering a small staff to put together a project... I'm sure all of you are familiar with NCW... well I know that I and many others are sick of constant battling so we want to put together a site that holds competitions, keeps statistics, rewards trophies and prizes but isn't based on how good your weapons/pet is (aka no battling )

Basically we want a permanent site that holds competitions based on things from designing a certain room in your neohome to doodle art (aka trying to be creative and funny not amazingly artistic) to things that require talent like art

We'd keep ranks on their and rank guilds according to best performances.. and did I mention.. prizes ?

So basically using iDB I was wondering if there would be an interest in such a thing.

I'd be interested.. It would depend on the activities/competitions hosted.

Same here, and I love prizes. They are shiny and prizeful.

I'd be happy to support it if you needed prizes or prize money. (I have a whole stash of sweets on Neopets, its a whole gallery. That's prolly not what you're looking for though.)

Sounds interesting, and it'd give me a reason to make the neohome I always wanted to make.

Kind of like a better Random Contest? Sounds good to me. I like that guild teams would be involved, too. Not everyone is into battling (in fact, I'd say battlers are a minority at Neo), and even many of us who love battling have interests outside it, too. I think this would get a great reception from the Neopian community, especially if you advertised it here and at places like PPT and Neoitems and NCW.

I like the idea, it sounds like a compendium of random contests... awarding creativity over wealthness, power, or art talents...

I dont know yet what exactly do you have in mind about this, but i would like to hear more about it.
