Shattered Rift Wrote:Beyond the Scuzzys, there are a few (expensive) eleven-iconers (Garoo Elite Blaster, Goo Blaster, and one other I can't remember but should be linked two in the ratings on those) going for something over a million apiece.
Bzzt Blaster maybe?
I think the SOA is a good idea to use with the Comb/SoRF as it seems to have a slightly higher average and if your opponent can block light it doesn't mess up both of your main attackers, just the Comb/SoRF
i don't like those tcg blasters...i'd stick with the nq2 insane.
Bzzt Blaster, Fungus ray, Garoo Elite blaster, and Goo blaster are the 11 icon TCG blasters. There's 4, not 3
I'm definitely a fan of the SoRF right along with you; however, I also realize that random weapons like that have their limitations, and their place in a set. With this particular item, it's place is as a backup weapon in a two player set, until you can afford a more spectacular backup weapon (like a p-kiln. Yay fire icons.)
Anyway, inside your budget the dual scuzzys are easily the best combination you can get. I would change to a SoA later on, if you really like the randomness, but as of now that's out of your price range. As a note, the SoA should pair nicely with the BoD or WoR - the 13 icon NQ2 weapons.
If your stats are really this out of proportion though, it may be a better option for you to ditchh defense entirely, and just keep labbing and training str. There are full blockers out there that can take care of defense; for example the Ring of the Lost and winged scarab knock out an SoS, while dealing 13 icons. Look into common weapons, and then look into full blockers. The only problem is that these tend to be on the expensive side.
Since you play 1 player, look into that healer before that freezer, as you can always withdraw from a fight if you don't get the 1st turn freeze with your percentage freezer; it's just more annoying if you go for a later freeze, and it takes more time.
ok .. Actually I'l prolly stop the labbing. Since I'm alr pumping in so much nps in training his level up currently, I dont feel good about risking reducing its level even further.
About the ELL/bag of lenngy healing seeds , the way you put it, I'm prolly staying away from it until the price is within my 'then' budget.\'_\'
I thought about the TCG blasters but that extra icon would really cost me alot.. I'm Okay with a bit of randomness so I'm still looking around for a SoA. (Averages around 11 icons)
Tentatively, it seems like dual SC is the way to go. Boring combination but I guess 20 actual icons is quite something.. Just in case my opponent blocks light, Im thinking of getting a cheap third weapon (Possibly replacing my sticky hand) for occasional 2-p battles. I know stone club/ice club are the likely options. But I don't really like the idea of using those clubs (too common). Maybe I will buy a cheap Spectral forest bow ? Just to temporary make up for the heavy light/phy attacks that I'm having now.

This I agree with you.

It didnt come to my mind that having a weak defense could still allow me to enter the BD competively. But like the examples you gave, ring of the lost totally blocks dark, while winged scarab kills phy. This will only work on SoS effectively. Thinking long term, this would mean needing to buy expensive dual duties that have the ability to defend superbly. Its worth consideration though.
Sadly bag of healing seeds is r99 while ELL is only r97. I really hope I can RS at leasst one. (tough luck) lol. I see alot of talks about P.Pot around the boards. Is it really good for 1-p BD?
On the RoTL/Winged Scarab, that was merely one example. If you look, I'm sure you can find other combos to take care of other weapons.
If you are at a low boost, and fighting higher boost enemies (for example, going up against space faerie on an 85 boost pet, or for the DoN) then it is a superb weapon, but once you become stronger, and closer to enemies boosts it becomes less and less effective. On a 35 boost pet vs the space faerie, for example, it's better to use this than to use SuAPs, because you deal 12 damage per icon as opposed to 1.5 or so. But when you're at the 300 boost yourself, that's not quite the case anymore. So it's a situationally useful item, and as such should definitely not be a priority in your set.
Keep in mind if you plan on dropping Defense that Two Player will be immensely harder, and effectively require you to be playing people at equal Boosts. Anyone with a Defense Boost on you will annihilate you.
For One Player, it's a more arguable point. Just remember that if you change your mind, the only (or the "best") time to catch up will be once you hit Level 250 and are doing Ninja Training (51K per non Zed Codestone average), when it's four hours per course. K-Questing would also help supplement at that point.
Just make sure to think it through before taking that route. Defense gains application in the One Player sphere around the 550 Boost.
Hmm. After much consideration, I will... quit the lab and concentrate on getting my level to match my Hp. I guess after that I can decide if I want to continue labbing. More importantly, I will have to push up the strength and defense up significantly so that I can start Lab/with training.
P.Pot is only r91 if Im not wrong so i guess I'l wait and see where the price will eventually land to. But for now, training comes first. I guess extravagant weapons can wait..

After taking into account all the advise I've gotten here. I've got a new BD set.
Sword of Apocalypse
Golden Compass / (shooting star muffin for impt battle)
Downsize! / (thick smoke bomb for impt battle)
Black Frost Cannon
Green Sticky Hand
Greater Healing Scroll / (jade elixir for impt battle)
Winged Scarab
Honey Potion
Any other suggestion ? (pls also include which weapon should be replaced.)
