Could you add a page somewhere which had all the species icon resistances/ suseptabilties? While most high-level battlers know these for thier battle pet, it'd probably be useful for lower-level battlers in forming startagey, for fighting 2 player (knowing the resistances for your opponent)(although admitedly I have very limited 2-player expirience), as well as for people whose battle pets are thier lap rats, and always changing species. If this isn't feasible, no biggie, I just think it probably wouldn't be too hard, as basically all of that info in known.
