Hey all,
Despite my 78961 errors in the past couple days, phase two of the IDB Rater Applications, our BD quiz, has been due. If you haven't sent in your responses, you're out of luck. Once we are done sorting through and grading the quizzes, we will get back to you on the results along with whether or not you have made it to the third phase. Good luck. Toungue
What's the third phase? Battling with the raters? lol.
Haha! No, but that actually sounds like fun. I wish we'd thought of that. Wink
We'll do that next time ^_^
Thanks to all who spent the time and effort to wade through our little obstacle course of a test. Due to kind of a rush to beat the deadline I can't say I've read all of them, but I know coming into the last few hours I was already impressed with the QUALITY of the responses. This isn't going to be a case of "could this person be good enough to be a rater", but "is this person one of the best of the pool of people who could be?" It's going to take a little time to short through things, read, score, compare, debate, etc., so please be at least a bit patient with the process, but we'll try to move it along as quickly as possible. Again, thanks to all who applied!
I thought the third phase is an interview. Or that's what I heard.

yup the third phase will be an interview with instant messaging.
I realize I'm probably in the minority in the group of folks who communicate over the internet, and I'd just like to point out that I don't have an IM thingy. I'll sort that out though..... assuming I'll be getting interviewed! I'm glad that there were a lot of quality responses. It'll feel good knowing that when I don't get chosen, at least I'll get to read some more quality ratings. Smile
There's always AIM Express, which doesn't require you to download anything. I'm not sure what program's being used for interviews, though. Smile
How many people, of the 89 who applied, do you expect to make it through this second round of tests?

Better question, since we probably have a higher likelihood of getting it answered: of the 89 that made it to Phase II, how many got their tests in on time and didn't withdraw?
