Sophie flips through a book, looking for your name. "According to this, you have 32,630 points left to spend."

i was just wondering if i could get some advise on what to spend my points on. since most of the reviews here stated that the battledome items werent worth it.
They BD prizes are yucky. I rather prefer Scarab ring to the whole lot of them. You can get the top prize for under 40K. The Ghost PBs are worth the most right now, however, I'm persoally sitting on mypoints right now to see what the prices do in the long run.
For profit now: Ghost Paint Brushes. For profit later, either the Ghost Paint Brushes or the Books.

Or you could be cool and go after the Furniture.
i'd have to disagree, if you check out all of the books, some of them are more profitable then the ghost pb's. considering ghost pb's have dropped to 105-110k =/
obiwan has the right idea, keep them acouple months.. and they'll be worth more Wink
Actually, even if you concider the price of the Ghost PBs to be 100K, They're still a better buy for the points than the books.
Concider this:
Gosht PBs are worth about 100K (under our assumption here, they're actually a bit more), and cost 8000 points. If you do the math, 100,000 NP/ 8000 points= 125 NP/ point.
The most exprensive book, (Behind the Rusted Door: The True Story of the Meepit Oaks Sanitorium) is worth about 30K, and costs 4000 points. If you do the math there, you get 30,000 NP/ 4000 points= 75 NP/ point. So the PBs give you almost twice as much per point as the top book does.

I won't do out all the math for all of the books here, but Suffice it to say that I've checked the ratios on all the other expensive books and they're similar/ worse. And the cheap books... well, practiacally anyone who did anything in either the plot or war component of the ToW can afford those, so they aren't worth much of anything. Wink

As I said earlier, though, I'd recomend sitting on your points and waiting for prices to go up, then making your decission.

ahh just checked prices. wow they've changed! you're totally right Smile
thanks a lot. guess i'll continue to sit on them till i need to upgrade my set. i'm anyway not too active on neo right now with my new job.
prices are going up on those books, if we give them time they will be worth more, but then again, Ghost paint brushes might go up again too, im all for sitting on my plot prize points for awhile, as id rather get the max money out of them Smile

I'm not sure I agree that that's the direct reasoning for that, albeit a true point.

I picked up my furny items a week(?) ago, and invested in a few of the expensive books. I think we're going to hit a problem, though: a lot of BDers went investing in the books, since it was the "best" investment. (Now, whether it's better than the Ghost Paint Brushes is debatable, as we can't be sure that the number of newbies won't exceed the number of Book-crazies for the foreseeable future.)

That said, I really don't think it's a good idea to sit on the points. I nearly forgot to spend mine. On the other hand: are the LDP prizes still obtainable, or was that link finally scrapped? (And do we have any previous prizes to those that are still open?)

The LDP prize shop is still open. Smile

Forget the link to the CoM prize shop, though.
Yeah, GHost PBs are still and will msot likely always be the best value for points. I plan on just getting 4 Ghost PBs when they are UB again.
