Yeah, I haven't been on neo since the maraqua war so I figure my state of the art battle set may be outdated and I have a bit of money to spend.

My stats:
Level : 42

Health : 84 / 81
Strength : EXCELLENT (55)
Defence : GREAT (31)
Move : EXCELLENT (40)
Intelligence : super genius (49)

My battle set is-
Melting Mirror
Black frost cannon
Blue scorchstone
Honey Potion
Downsize
obsidian dagger
sticky snowball (usually)

I have 200k in the bank and a Shield of Revenge to sell.
As for preference I like variance over constant (ie a 6-10 iconer over a constant 8)

How about a constant nine? Several nine-icon weapons were released since you left.

Both your Melting Mirror and Obsidian Dagger have become out-dated. However, for a nice variable weapon, Von Roo Dice can replace your Obsidian Dagger. There isn't a consistent nine-iconer that would directly replace you Melting Mirror based on the icons (nor do the Dice replace your Dagger based on the icons), but here are the options: Ice Club (and the slightly more expensive Stone Club) for consistency, or for the seven-to-nine range, 17-Pound Trout (gets owned by Leaf Shield, though your set looks geared towards One Player), Enchanted Wooden Bow (suffering from fractionals), and Earth Faerie Slingshot (a very pretty weapon, and pretty Two Player icons).

There are more besides those, but those are the ones I can recall off-hand. You should switch from Blue Scorchstone (which recently deflated) to Greater Healing Scroll (though you should note that GHS heals pre-damage with no overheal). I'm not sure how cheap Staff of Righteous Fury is, but it's another nice variable weapon that would probably be the step up, and they're priced around 400K (and some under) on the TP at the moment. I'm not sure how much the Shield of Revenge is worth, so I can't judge whether your budget can mange that purchase or not.


And there's good old-fashioned training, which is always a recommendation.

we have very similar stats so i may be able to help you...

in fact i recently suffered the same problem you are facing, left neo and came back only to find all the weapons to save tons for are now buyable!
anyway:
i did a quick search on the shield of revenge and nobody on the trading post gave a price which tells me that those are very HTS!
so a decent, CHEAP set for you may just be:

Black Frost Cannon--> u already have
Honey Potion--> u already have
Stone Club--> 80k, sell your melting mirror for 120k...120k-80k=40k!
Greater Healing Scroll--> 30k, sell blue ss for 13k+17k from the change from selling the mm
Downsize!-->u already have
Earth Faerie Slingshot--> since you like random...I would just pay a little extra and get an Ice Club(constant)
Leaf Shield-->u did train defence, take advantage of it...
Scarab Ring--> this may sound stupid but SR still PWNs 1P!

according to my calculation you will still have most of the 200k to had before so you can work towards upgrades or more importantly balancing ur stats...
you have slightly screwed up ur stats with that level 42 but a few 'unlucky' visits to von roo at midnight can fix that...since five dubloon coins cost about the same as 1 codestone, u can even out your stats without too much hassle...training movement is optional but i still do anyway because i feel one day it will play a more important part in the battledome...
