Hi,
Would love to hear your oppinion about my set - what should go, what should stay, what should .....
I have a Kacheek
Stats:
Hit Points : 82 / 82
Strength : AWESOME (72)
Defence : EXCELLENT (58)
I have about 1,8mil in the bank, and another mil in stocks. I restock once in a while, mostly make my NP by stocks...
My weapons:
Kacheek Life Potion
Virtupets X-514 Super Shield
Honey Potion
Air Faerie Crown
H4000 Helmet
Sword of Apocalypse
Bow of Destiny
Purple Sticky Hand
I mostly do 1player.
Thanks for looking!
I'll go with a MUCH less radical approach. For where you are in the game, you're set with your healer, bomb and freezer (slots #5-#7). In other words, you have a good to better-than-good package for this stage of fighting in the base areas. Your #1 & #2 attackers are Bow of Destiny and Sword of Apocalypse, which good and adequate respectively. In the #3 you have the useful Air Faerie Crown, which is really a bit better in the #4 slot, but isn't bad. The two areas of weakness I see are in the #4 and #8 slots. The X-514 Shield and the Purple Sticky Hand. By all means keep the Sticky Hand, but its really for situational use only, and really isn't something you'll always want to equip. I think you'd find an inexpensive Scarab Ring, to be more useful than the Virtupets Shield in slot #4, and would agree with Wilt, that a Downsize! would be an inexpensive additional option for the #8 slot when your stealer won't be of help (remember, they've been disabled in wars and plots, and sometimes in one-player you KNOW you won't steal anything worth while even if successful with the Sticky Hand). In general, I think you're in good shape and that the best investment for you is to TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN!!!! Thus, I'd be more in favor of keeping your nps on hand and doing the more radical upgrades AFTER you've trained your pet's skills. Get the defense up with the other areas and keep training strength, defense and hit points. You've got a good start on a fine battle pet.
The Virtupets Shield I don't think is a particularly great item for you. You already have light defense with the Air Faerie Crown, and the inexpensive Scarab Ring I mentioned would give you physical and fire defense with an attack as well. Two items without breaking the budget that might be useful to pick up are a Leaf Shield (as Wilt suggested), which adds water and earth defense, along with additional physical) and a Jade Staff, which would give you an attack option with some dark defense. None of these are as good as the Scarab Ring, though all could be useful to interchange in the #8 slot, and I think all would be better options for you than the Virtupets Shield.
In sum, a good start, pet wise, and set wise, keep building from it with minor alterations, and most importantly - TRAIN, TRAIN, TRAIN!
train to atleast 125 HP
Get:
GBomb
RCG
D!
KLP
and RSBx2
Mike: Remember to edit instead of double post
Thanks guys!
I have Downsize in my safety deposit box, will exchange it for the purple hand.
And yes: I've started to train to get up to the 85 boost on strength and defense. Got rid of my second pet, as to be able to train 'smarter'.
Thanks for the help!
150 HP
85 Str and Def
Set:
Kacheek Life Potion
Downsize!
Air Faerie Crown
Purple Sticky Hand
H4000 Helmet
MOC
Bow of Destiny
G-bomb
ErnieRob130, in no way do I see how Lena can afford a
Mask of Coltzan AND a
Ghostkerbomb in the current situation. And you should be giving more than a suggested set. You really should be adding why you think what the person should do like CadaverGrey, Cranberry, Rabid_Schnauzer and VermontHermit have been doing.
well!!
in a typical set with def and str equal, you need
2 dule dutys
1 main attacker
a stealer, a freezer
a bomb..
and of course you need a healer..
and downsize!
I dont have allot of time on my hands unlike many people here.. so Im sure they will give you more than enough info besides me..
either you like MOC and get a cheaper bomb or get a more expensive bomb and a cheaper dule duty..
