Firstly,
Illusen's Earth Potion needs to go, it's a bomb that averages 8 icons, with types that are easily blocked. Back in the days when 6 icons was the best you could do for under 200k that was a deal, but today you can get variable weapons with similar average damage for around 30k and 8 icon constants for 45k.
Next, the Halo of Devilpuss is highly questionable. With the advent of buyable 9 iconers, and cheapo 7+ icon variable weapons the halo's 7.62 average looks weak. But it does do mostly Dark icons, which are hard for 2player opponents to block efficiently until they are at the Golden Compass level of weapons. So if you battle mostly 2player against limited budget opponents, it's worth keeping. Otherwise, ditch it.
Now, looking at your pet's stats:
Quote:HP: 10 / 177
Strength : LEGENDARY (131)
Defence : EXCELLENT (47)
Movement : EXCELLENT (47)
Intelligence : ULTIMATE GENIUS (144)
I'm going to say that if you are going to battle 2 player seriously, you need to make it your number 1 priority to train that defense up to even with your Str.You seem to have the level for it so it shouldn't be too painful. An even defense would open up
Leaf Shield and a large number of buyable dual duties as effective weapons for you.
And as much as I love the Scarab Ring, those 6 defensive icons aren't all that great when your Str is 3 boosts higher than your defense. You'd likely be better trading it in for a 7 icon
Battle Ready Pencil Box or similar cheap offensive weapon such as
Von Roo Dice or
17-Pound Trout or one of the constants I mention below:
Now on to an a set suggestion for a pet with your current stats and 1.2 million to spend.
The first priority needs to be a freezer. If you battle 1 player, you can get by with a
Snowglobe Staff and using the "withdraw, heal and repeat until you get a 1st round freeze" tactic with it. If you battle 2player, I'm going to suggest that you get a Black or Rainbow
Frost Cannon. I know they don't look impressive, but on average they are slightly better than 10 icon weapons.
Your next priority needs to be a healer. Your
Greater Healing Scroll covers that adequately. It is the best option for your stats and price range.
Now comes the very tough choice. You have almost exactly enough left to get a
Honey Potion Which is a seriously great bomb that you will have in your set until you have another 10 million or so to spend on it. However getting one leaves you very nearly broke, so you'd be pretty limited in what else you could get.
Alternately you could forgo the bomb and get a set of decent constants and utility weapons. In this 2nd case, you can get the cheaper 10 icon constants and still afford a
Winged Scarab which has a full physical block that can be a great defensive option for any pet whose Defense is significantly lower than their Str.
So here's what that set with the Honey Potion would look like:
Rainbow Frost Cannon about 225k on TP now
Greater Healing Scroll
Honey Potion around 775k

Scarab Ring
Earth Faerie Slingshot ~40k
Earth Faerie Slingshot ~40k
Final slot is either
Purple Sticky Hand or
Shooting Star Muffin depending if you want the stealer or are willing to use a single use item for extra damage.
Alternately the Slingshots could be replaced with the slightly cheaper
Enchanted Wooden Bow or the slightly more expensive
Tyrannian Lupe Tooth or maybe even
Ice Club
And here's what the set without it would look like:
Black Frost Cannon ~440k on TP
Greater Healing Scroll
Downsize!
Winged Scarab
Staff of Righteous Fury
Staff of Righteous Fury - these are listing at 500k on tp right now, but there is one in auctions at 300k with no bids, so I'm going to assume you can find them at 275k. If you can't, then look for
Scuzzys Comb instead.
Golden Compass ~175k,
Final slot changes with opponent:
Purple Sticky Hand,
Shooting Star Muffin or 50% fragile Reflector (any of
Double Dryer,
Dual Battle Mirror,
Shovel Plus,
Super U-bend,
Turbo Flame Reflector,
Ultra Dark Reflectorb you should be able to afford one of each here.)
The combo of winged scarab for a full physical block and a reflector to even out one other icon type will give you a viable defense despite your low defense stat.
The SoRFs shine in one player, where their variability is an advantage
The the dark defense on the Golden Compass isn't great now, but as you train it will get better and it gives you an attack with slightly different iconage. Alternately
Essence of Esophagor is a 9 icon weapon with completely different icons.
