So this player asks me if I want the thing and honestly I don't know. 5 Light is pretty weak, especially compared to some other items in the price range or cheaper. And from the IDB entry it says that chances of healing are pretty low, and from the looks of things pretty random. I don't think I can haggle below 750k. So now I need some advice from some pros. Is this a worthy buy? And if I'm not happy with it could I sell it for what I paid for it?

P.S. I'm also wondering what a fair price would be on a Golden Peophin Harp (species freezer) now that there are other species with their own freezers as well as the marbles in the hidden tower. I was also curious if anyone knows why the price of the Peophin Bubble has shot up to 600-800k when it used to be between 250-350k. It hasn't changed any I don't think. So anyone have any thoughts on that?

As Q77 said , you want you decide when to heal but not the rod decides.

About the Blade of Supernova, I personally would never buy it unless I do 1-player only. But since the range of healing is so big, that decreases the chances of me buying it significantly. If I were ever to buy it, 500K would be the most that I pay for it.

For the Golden Peophin Harp, I would pay 4 million Neopoints at the most. Even the Entangling Lenny Lasso is only about 3 million, and I suppose the extra ~1 million for the is fair enough. As for the Peophin Bubble, I have no idea why as well, but maybe it is because people just noticed it is a Rarity 99 item. Not really sure though.

Ah but that would be a horse of a different color wouldn't it?

4mil on the harp? Good. That's just where I thought it should be. I did offer the guy who's selling it a Pirate pb and 1 mil neopoints, so he'd be getting a slightly better deal value-wise. I just hope he replies to my neomail.
Yeah, that's weird about the Bubble. Now I'm wishing I'd blown a month's earnings and bought it for my collection back then. But it was going down pretty steadilly and with the new weapons being released I thought it would continue to devalue. Oh well, I guess it's a lesson.

Btw I like your sig. I've been battling for a long time, (mostly 1-player) and I almost never use a freezer. Only twice so far with my Scroll of Freezing, but I don't even keep it in my battle set. I wouldn't keep my harp in it either, only if I needed it for an overwhelming opponent would I consider using it. Freezing just makes things too easy.
