Since a bulk of us have been on neopets for a good few years, I would like to know what isit that had happened before in neopets that you miss and wish would happen again. Or something that you did in neopets that you wish you can do again.
I have several:
- Being a leader of a battle guild for new battlers. That was at the time my pet was a lupe, with 20 points stats, and three weapons. (Yup, great battledome guild leader I was
). But that was seriously fun, cos I pretty much learned alot from a council which had 5 times more health points than me, and surrounded by players who are in the same level as I am, so there is that drive to outdo each other interms of training, heh.
Would I set up a guild like that now? Very much so. Unfortunately time does not permit me to such commitments...
- When plots are less complicated i.e. it's just us fighting against a horde binary codes, lol
- When neopets had NO ADS!
I remember when Neopets had no ads! It was fantastic and amazing, and then they put up lots of ads
Personally, I just miss a lot of the fun people I got to meet, mostly traders and such, through the boards. I'm really sad that so many of them were frozen, and are no longer around because some of them were the funniest and most obnoxious people I knew.
That, and I miss the heyday of lab map dealing, when a full lab map set would only cost you lik 450K. That was great, because so many people could start selling and that was a quick way to get rich. Now, with the price of maps, it's harder. Inflation is not a fond memory of mine.
There's probably more, but I just can't think of anything else at the moment.
I miss when World Challenge map pieces were unlimited instead of three per day. If I was really bored, I could play one game of Volcano Run per hour for 10 hours in a row (I usually won for the highest score, so only one send was necessary) and make a lot of NP selling those map pieces.
I kind of miss when my battlepet was, like, the 35-55 boosts. I had cheap, not-very-powerful weapons, but so did everyone else, so I had fun doing quickfights against people with similar stats. I haven't done much 2-player battling in years.
I miss when I first signed up. Restocking faeries for 88 np for a few k profit haha
And then I ended up winning a mystery island totem (it was up for auction, many people fighting for it) so I was one of the first people to explore it
But mostly I miss restocking or doing the kadoatery with friends.
- I miss my pets 55 boost. I pwned back then. Now it feels like my pet is just as powerful which is weird. Back then I could beat things I have touble beating together
- REAL WARS
i miss the BFM war, oh and that other war, was it with kass? where you had the wnated posters as trophies.... there has not been a war as great as that ever since

I miss Swich-a-roo. Oh, how I miss that game. And grundo's Gym. And treasure Hunt. And all those things that gave an enormous ammount of Np without any effort.
And the two meridell wars.
P.S: The war with "wanted" throphies was HATIC (Hannah and the ice caves)
I miss the days when TNT wasn't always trying to make things horrible for battlers... like, back when we had decent wars. That's the main thing. I also miss quickfights, now I'm too strong for to ever be able to get a fight.

Those things were evil.
I remember when I had my graphitesmoothie account and not too much of a life. Things were nice. I liked the HatIC war, even with the poison, because it was the only war I fully participated in.
The BFM war was when I just started playing neo again, and only had 35 boost for that war, and I got iced about a month after HatIC.
