To get the challenger (I am assuming it is Meuka), simply just keep playing the Wheel of Misfortune. It is not as wise to "burrow" (I think you mean "borrow") a pet just for Meuka, in the case of the pet being taken before you when you "burrow" it or being taken before its journey back to its owner.

A word of warning about the Wheel of Misfortune, since you can lose items to it I'd recommend putting any items you don't want to risk getting stolen some place safe before you spin. Pant Devil is ebil.
