I suspect this has been asked too often already, but can someone tell me how to post a screen shot (a PnG file) onto a thread here? Thanks!

You can't post PGG's as an image on the forums. It would have to be a commonly used image format such as jpg or gif. See if you are able to convert your current screenshot into one of those formats.

Edit: Lol, I was wondering what a PGG was. WIS covered it all in his post.

For PNGs, or any other image format that is widely used across the internet, you can use a simple BB-Code such as this:


You must, however, upload the image first on to a free service such as http://www.photobucket.com or http://imageshack.us , if you haven't done so already.

Please do remember that the image is very big size or dimension wise, please be considerate and put it in spoiler tags. Like such:

I'd advise against imageshack, though -- it's a really slow-loading hosting site and when people have screenies/avatars hosted there, when people try to view them here it can make threads really slow to load. I've had threads hang sometimes and refuse to open when there are imageshack pics in there.
