OK, after the emergency patch, I logged into my account. I went around the free market with my mage looking for some new equips and some cheap items to snipe, but after a while I got disconnected from the game. I tried reconnecting again and....

BAM, I WAS PERMANENTLY BANNED.

A window popped up saying that I was permanently banned for using 3rd programs hacks. The fact is, I NEVER USE ANY HACKS IN PLAYING MAPLE STORY. I don't know why they blamed me for hacking, maybe it's just a mistake on their side.

And I think they are starting to mass ban. When I logged in my mage, I saw that it went up like 100+ spots without even me training.

I hope I can get my account back soon. What do you guys think I should write on my message about me falsely accused of hacking? And also, how long till I get a reply?

I won't let them waste like 1-2 months of my life. I've spent that much time levelling up my characters (level 60 ice/lit mage, level 32 swordsman, and level 23 thief) and seeing my account going in smokes was just like saying I was unconcious in this world for months.

Today is the day I walk out of MS Global, and when I asked myself... it was definitely not worth it.

Sorry guys I just feel too depressed seeing on how much effort I put into this game, playing legit 100% of my time in MS, only to be accused as one of the criminals ruining the game. What's worse is that the 2 months I wasted in this game could have been better used on something else. Unless I get my account back, I'm gone for good.

NEW update:

It looks like my perma ban got changed to a 30 day ban. I'll be back at feb 13. However, that also means I'm completely wiped out of rankings and one wrong move will be a permanent ban. I think that will ruin my reputation if someone decided to search through the rankings though

I felt the same way when I got banned.. But I guess it was different for me, as I actually hacked (for a short period of time).. Your quote is all true. There isn't any point. However, I guess you can just apply that to the world in general.

I hope you get your account back, but I think you already know thats not going to happen. Walk away and don't look back, it was never worth it to begin with

I guess you're right. There's no point starting over. My sister got hacked at level 33, almost a year now and GM doesn't seem to care. Now I got falsely banned at level 60, I guess it just means for me to get a new life. Besides there are a lot more games out there.

But I have one final thing to say.... I MAY be back (chances are second to none)... but on my level 35 pure HP warrior. Sorry I kept it secret here in IDB, but I have to admit, I played it on a different account.

...and what pisses me off more is that RoninRiot, a hacker I met in Lorang x3, who rudely robbed me off my channel was still active on the Rankings. He was level 68 when I saw him, but now, he's 73 >.>. If they don't freeze this jerky.... (---part removed by me---, might be violating rules here since I'm going way too far)

I went through sleepywood and also saw a couple of legits get falsely banned. I hope they clear up the problem soon. That means I may still be back... that is if they unfreeze me.

Yeah, you're not the only one with the problem. Hopefully they get this cleared up.

Hmm, I think their alleged system of catching people who level too quickly was set a little too low if people who actually grinded got banned. That's the only reason I can come up with. I'm quite glad they didn't do this while I was around 45-60. I would grind at Lorangx3 & Hot Sands for at least the 10 hours it started taking to level. This is all just creepy. Why don't they actually do sweeps, it would be much less likely to get the wrong people.

You can apprently PM Joe if you're positive you or anybody that somehow got access to your account didn't use third party software at all. If he checks it and its a legit ban, then your account gets terminated.

Is it possible that someone else with access to your computer used any third-party program? This includes anything, even windowed mode or something that allows you to play with a controller instead of the keyboard.

I don't think programs that allow you to play with a controller would count. All it does is translate controller buttons into keyboard strokes. I would know, I've used 2 different programs for it.

RoninRiot got away with it. He hacked right in front of me at Lorangx3. I used the report GM -> hacking option, and he's still up in the rankings >_>

I'm not saying it's their intention to ban it, but I'm guessing anything that interferes can be detected... it's a lot more automatic.

I'm sorry to hear that )= You're the first one that I've heard of that's in close proximity ._. Hopefully this'll be resolved, and hopefully it's ot something stupid like: Banned for use of autoclickers during pq ( or being in a party with a leader using one).
