iDB Community Forum

i guess we can't end the year without a forum disaster. :\'(:\'(
I was patching up the forums for the most recent update, but accidentally run the installation scripts instead of the update scripts.

And sadly, the thing cleared out the entire forum database...and even worse is that i'm not very responsible with the database backups of the forums (all i do is the idb backups because the forums is giganormous)

So yea, you maybe noticing our news is about 1 month old, that's cause my most recent forum backup is about a month ago (11/20). So very sorry about that.

Please take it easy on me, it's the holidays. Again, sorry folks. Everything idb should be untouched.

By the way, if you lost access to your account (everything is about 1 month old, including passwords, email addresses, etc.) please PM me and I'll see if I can help you.

It's okay, finalhit... it could have been much worse! We all still have our accounts and everything.

All I lost (besides some posts, but nothing terribly insightful ) was a couple reputations and my "most helpful weapons advisor" trophy (I hope I get that back; it was so cute).

Ha this is my third post ever.

There goes 30 posts but nothing major. Its okay Final but try keep the installation scripts in another file than with the updates. I am sure everyone can manage after all it was just one month.

Don't worry, sometimes people mess with everything they hae in their hands, belive me.

At least the site is on.

They can make a new account to PM me, and then I would verify they own whatever account, etc.

Ouch, at least the site still works though, but my reputation and post count went all the back down to where I was before I came out of inactivity here.
